Even if the rumours of Claudio were out there.. I still popped like crazy!! He’s such a great addition to the company. Forbidden door was amazing. I can’t wait for another 1. I loved seeing the NJPW guys.

Nothing like just a wholesome positive wrestling conversation. Congrats Aubrey and Tony and what you and all have accomplished in AEW. Keep up the great stuff, and this wholesome podcast too.
I was living just south of Jacksonville (St. Augustine Beach) during the pandemic recordings. I got to see so much incredible wrestling due to the "season tickets" and awesome pricing for them. Thank you AEW! You made a very difficult time way easier every single week. Now I'm home living back in Cleveland...see y'all next month at the Wolstein Center!

Aubrey is the best ref in any company ever. Beyond adding so much to each match she refs, beyond not taking any crap from anyone, can we all just remember what a total badass she was during the Britt Baker/Thunder Rosa cage match? How many tacks did she have in her arm and didn't even flinch?? Smart, tough, fair... She's the best. 🙂👍

Hell no, she makes the most ridiculous faces and does way too much. A referee is suppose to react to what's going on in the ring but not take the attention off the wrestlers .

Whenever they have a new episode, I instantly get excited! I love Tony’s wisdom from being in the business and Aubrey I feel as new as she is to wrestling only being in it for a while but she’s very over with people and I feel like she gets what we the fans want to see. She’s dope

On the subject of working bloody matches...I think it would be a small, nice touch if before a match that is anticipated to be very brutal and bloody, the referee makes a small, quick show of putting on the protective gloves before anyone has started to bleed or the bell has even rung. Not enough to distract from the wrestlers or the match, but as a small way to further impress upon the crowd and viewers that this is going to be a ruthless match.

I went from being unsure of a female ref in AEW to only wanting Aubry to ref. But the other guys are great as well.

It is too many titles and objectively listing the reasons why: (1)You cannot separate the fact that ROH titles and NJPW titles are part of the tally when they are frequently defended on your shows.(2)What is the actual purpose of the Atlantic belt, it hasn't even been defined, is it only against foreign talent? Only defended outside the US? Are you pigeonholing your other titles not being defended outside the country? If it's an International title, just call it an International title, the wonky name leaves a question mark every time its' even mentioned. (3) Back to the title tally it is the same period as the Interim belt being out there so it's like having two world titles for AEW.(4) AEW probably is going to have six man belts and womens tag belts at some point, which is even more belts and probably are more appropriate than the undefined Atlantic belt, this devalues being a champion, what made AEW special is that being a champion actually matters in this company.(5) Another thing that makes AEW special are actual feuds and storylines, you won't have any that aren't around the title now, because you will squeeze them out if you try to get all the belts on television (6)It also locks you in as if you try to correct this and if you ever get ROH a separate tv deal to fix this you would have to never allow ROH to defend on AEW television so you can have time for your storylines and that locks your ability to push the matches you want. Now, just to be fair, I will give two advantages for more belts- It keeps talent happy that they are valued and not just spinning their wheels and it give actual reasons instead of the fake reasons top contenders and former champions don't get the title matches and rematches they were supposed to get. Actually one more, lower tier and less experienced wrestlers get title holding experience to see if they might potentially be top of the card wrestlers down the line.
