Alan Landsburg Productions was an American production company founded in April 1970 by American television writer Alan Landsburg. He left the company in 1985 to form The Landsburg Company, and Alan Landsburg Productions became Reeves Entertainment Group on May 6 that year. Reeves was sold to Thames Television for $89 million in 1990, and eventually closed down in 1994, folding into Thames.

Well my favorite is the Landsburg Company logo which it is after Alan Landsburg left Reeves and then founded his independent company.

I like how the first REG logo based itself in style (in terms of the blue "REG" part) off the styling of the last ALP logo.

@@systemshocker2875 That first rendition was consequently short-lived. It was also animated differently: while the previous ALP logo (as used from 1979-84) was wiped away for the text to appear; the REG logo was shrunk to make room for the text to its left.

It's funny that I see the blue ALP/REG logos and hear that music, it gives me nightmares when I was a kid. But now I just say, "okay. The jingle is still dynamically open but it's part of entertainment history. " lol Good job of putting it all together.

5:21 - 5:23 Why in the fuck did Wild and Crazy Kids' closing theme have that creepy laugh? Gave me nightmares as a kid!

That first logo has very smooth animation for 1971
I love how some of the later logos (I think post-1984?) have a similar theme to the Lorimar Television logo (the 90s one, that came after the Lorimar-Telepictures version)

@@superneonicelogan Yep in 1994 Reeves was bought by Thames and they dissolved it archiving all of the company's work in the Thames gallery :T

I like how KTTV Fox 11 Station ID VO was inserted at 5:15 while the REG Reeves Logo was on display.
I uused to live to see these old productions logos after old tv shows l.

The 1st logo was clean audio and the 2nd and others are little bit Swob.
