Hey I recently converted my McLane to electric as well but have been using Ryobi 40v. Do you still feel like switching to a lower gauge wire has solved your controller problems? I'm having the same issue with 12 awg from the battery to the controller. Also would you mind posting the link to your Ali express battery kit that you recommend? Great job and nice bimmer, got an X3 m40i myself

Hey, yeah. I feel the 12awg wire has really helped my setup. How long is the wire you are using. You also have to be careful with long runs of wire. This is the battery kit I purchased, you will still need the 18650 battery cells. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. @@JohnsonMotorsports Just got the reels sharpened and swapped out to 10 AWG wire for the entire setup and she runs like a champ now. I'd really like to do the battery mostly for weight to lay some deep stripes. She can already put some better ones down than my Ryobi 21" though! Thanks for the content man you definitely were the one to inspire me to go this route and i'm loving it! I had an F15 X5 back in the day and loved it! Miss the lil bit extra space for sure
