Hopefully it was the reason why those kicks have been release that way... I am waiting for improvement in the reebok retros' quality - pump which does not pump or almost doesn't pump, hexalite whithout hexalite, finally nothing but only the dmx logo on shues - come on! I stopped buying the reebok's retros for now - where's the whole reebok legacy???

I owned the OG Answer 3 red/white and played bball in them regularly back in '99-00. They were the most comfortable Iverson's I ever had having owned the OG Questions and Answer 1-5 and 9. My wife gifted me the Answer 3 black/white for Xmas and plan to play bball in them soon. Not expecting the best ride but hopefully it's decent enough.

This was a highly anticipated release for me. It's very disappointing that it is such a horrible edition. Thanks for the great review. I'll wait it out for clearance or the resell market where I'm sure they'll be far below retail.

Im not one to usually complain about materials but when u pull up the older pair its crazy how they played us on the quality

You said it right! It’s my favorite Iverson, been waiting for over 20 years for it. Finally got it retro but in terrible material, same as bad as the red/white Answer 1. Why Reebok why?????

I never got the original pair in highschool. I was very excited for these. I ordered them off ebay when they first became available. I enjoy them, however I can see why so many are disappointed. They're definitely not worth what I paid for them. Hopefully they improve these if they stick around in the future with collabs etc

I have to wonder if they fudged the materials on this because the Answer 1 retros last year didn't sell as well as they expected.

Agreed with you 💯 I literaly cried when i got my Answer 1 shipped over that was recently re-released, the Vietnam version, i got all 3 colors because this is my all time fav sneaker hands down. But the quality is so dissapointing, i was heart broken. Reebok really needs to step up and release a true retro with genuine leathers and materials with the proper dmx technology etc. Cheers my man

The coast point is bulls.... - they are in love with making fast money!! Its a punch in the face what they do with the shoes - if they do that in the 90's i would never be a sneakerhead! The smell, the technik, the Qualität,... noting ..... !

It used to be that Reebok retros were far more superior in quality vs. Nike/Jordan retros. But now, I’m not so sure.

See that's the thing for me. I don't mind what they did... Just not $140... Not when I paid that for the first couple colorways of the omnizones and they were WAY better!

It's upsetting the black and white ones drop tomorrow. Wore them in 7th grade hoops and want them, but why if not the same nostalgia. Like you say cheep corporate greed. 4$ more cost for the real leather+ real "DMX"

The 3's are by far the best version of the Answer and the Red white colorway is my favorite as well! All your points are absolutely valid ones. For me, it was nostalgic. I had to cop these anyway because this is my favorite answer, and I had a lot of great games when I played in them. They still look great on and feel great, too, despite being made of synthetic materials.

Love Reebok, but this is just wrong! It’s one of my favorite model and color schemes too! Just wrong!

The Pump vertical 1s were kind of a let down also. Nothing but the design was the driver for me buyin’ ‘em

There is not much to it, Hexalite will never be back and the Pump will remain what it is now, so for me is a massive win to even see it back

Reebok is disrespecting their best shoes. The retro of the Answer 5s were atrocious too. Really wanted this model, but I'm not wasting my money on garbage materials

@@NShomebase the lows were nice, the mids were not. When compared to the OGs, it was a huge difference.

I got my pair last week an I was a little disappointed myself due to the cardboard leather an no tech imo reebok made better quality shoes when they were owned by adidas
