I'm a plumber and I've been wearing the 6" burnsides for 2 years now, about to replace them with a new pair. by far the best work boot I've ever had. just a heads up, I normally wear an 11 or 11.5 in every other boot or shoe. they told me I needed a 10.5 at the store. a little tight the first few days but after that, the most comfortable boots I've ever had.

That’s awesome bro! Man sizing is so odd with footwear I’ve worked through two pairs of the burnside in my true size 12 and have loved them. Such a beautiful boot. Might try switching it up to their Exos light for the summer!

Pretty sure they can replace those cap pieces over the toe. With the upper repair. That's free under warranty for the first year and just over 100 after.

I personally wear whites boots. They are handmade in Washington state. Granted you pay for them but I love my roughnecks. They are 10 inch steel toes. Very comfortable, rebuildable and can be re-soled. I paid just under 500 for mine on sale.

I have been wearing this boot in HVAC/R trade for 1 year now. Its a comfortable, warm boot because of the liner and padding. Not something I could wear in the summer. The insole slides around when I am walking which is annoying. Easy fix. But I honestly see myself in Whites Millwrights once these go.

Nice man! I did wear these in the summer and it did get hotter than I would prefer at times. I also added the Red Wing insoles that they fit you on that machine and they make a huge difference in comfort for me. I’ve heard good things about the Whites I’ll have to check them out!

Iv just got these and work on ice and I can barely stay upright the worst grip I ever had on a shoe is this just because it's day 1??? I might have to take them back

I can’t say I’ve ever had to wear them on ice! They work awesome for me in the snow and every other terrain doing plumbing and hvac work. Maybe you need something studded or something because I think on ice they would compare to any other virbram sole

Can’t go wrong with redwing but they do have a lot of boots made in China...so get the USA boot, the best.

Are you sure you can resole them? I just left a redwing store and the guy said they couldn't. Not saying your wrong, he very well could be. Looking for clarification.

They make a puncture resistant style number 3520 .... his are not.

Man I honestly think they would. I put them through their paces in plumbing and hvac and they are super durable boots! Still my daily pair.
