I am from Tamilnadu and have installed solar panels 5 years before....Had good times till last year regarding reduction of EB bills.... For the last one year the TNEB started charging money for the units what we generate and transmit up and down through their network... Now I am paying a lot which is almost equal to the previous bills before installing solar panels... The government should actually encourage people to install solar panels rather than taxing more and more who have already installed

the uncertainties accompanying this present economy/market is more reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $850k in return on investment, since using a coach for about 2years.

Fun Fact : When you realise you lack space for installing a solar panel when you live in skyscrapper with 150 flats . Also people living in small houses can also face problem when their surroundings get filled up with multi storied buildings which will block sunlight form entering your house .

People living in the building can still use solar to pump water to roof top tanks, electricity requirements in the common area like cctv, lights etc. and to charge the electric vehicles in parking. You can also install a bolt charging device outside your building and let other people charge their electric vehicles and make money out of it. Which can be used to decrease your maintenance charges.

Installed the 3kW system in last January, it was insatlled and ready to use in 3-4 days but we were not able to use it because discomm were taking months to approve the net meter, it took them 2-3 months to approve and install the meter, had to bribe to get this done. Since then our bills have reduced to almost 10% of previous amount, our roof is much cooler since they are under constant shade of solar panel. So apart from that department issues everything is fine.

For people who are getting Load Penalty in their electricity bill i have a tip #if you are using more units than alloted increase kW like 1.5kW to 2kW #use only one appliance at a time Example: turn off refrigerator while using washing machine I have TV, Refrigerator and Washing machine at home and i reduced bill amount from ₹800 to ₹600 by increasing kW from 1.5 to 2 and following above steps. Also replace any CFL bulb , tubelight and old 100 candle bulb with LED bulbs.

Get a BLDC fan! I recently got an atomberg fan, and the difference in the bill is amazing. It reduced roughly ₹400. Ofcourse, it might not seem that much. But in the long run, it keeps stacking up. This is because of 2 major factors: 1. The fan being BLDC: I have around 4 fans in my house. I only got one of them replaced with a BLDC fan, and am planning to replace more of them. BLDC fans consume half the amount of electricity compared to normal fans. They just straight up cut half the bill. 2. Having a timer: Having a timer has been a great help. Before, I was using the AC for 6 hours a night, now its 2! I can set a 2 hour timer on my AC to turn off and another 2 hour timer on my fan to turn on at full speed. Great hit on electricity!

Now I am getting 3000 in 3 summer months and 200rs in the rest of the months. Solar doesn't require AMC. Just install sprinklers to clean the solar panels quickly. A local plumber took 5000 to buy and install all the equipment. I am using it from 2020, I can voch that we will definitely get returns in less then 3 years

The video can inspire common people to go for solar. But it doesn't talk about some points 1. Average generation from 1kw system is 4 units or less.Depending of your location, roof orientation and shadow. 2. Eventhough solar panels work for 20-25 years, the ongrid inverter has a warranty of 5-10 years. So there will be a hidden expenditure in the future. 3. There are good solar calculators for understanding your cost benefit analysis like itsmysun, solx etc. 4. Also subsidy is only for India manufactured solar panels which are not at par with Chinese in terms of efficiency or performance.

Let me put things in perspective. Lets assume An avg of 400 units monthly consumption for a small apartment in Maharashtra The cheapest setup cost for a paltry 3Kwh solar system for 1 house will set back an individual by 3 Lakh INR UPFRONT COST and the "guarantee/warranty" on "all" the equipments involved is not even 5 years. Not to forget the additional cost of space required for setup as terrace is not a viable option for 1 apartment in a building with over 300 families and additionally maintenance of solar panels from bird poop. The cost of electricity from providers even at the applicable tariff for 400 units will still avg out at 3k INR monthly, which totals to 36k INR Annually. So by that calculation to spend 3 Lakhs will take an individual 8 years. Conclusion is even though electricity should be free, but it's still provides many people employment, which means even the providers have a significant operational cost and hence charge for services provided.

This is much costlier than electricity, please calculate the cost of Solar panels required for home, during cloudy season - not much power generation as expected, forget about the maintenance - once the panel is damaged or having issues then the repair cost and new panel cost is almost the same.. Solar Panels might not work after 7-10 years as per my experience!
