Oh really? cool. Nice bit of kit. Would be good if you could slip the cable along the side of the headlining but I don't know how feasable that might be. A good auto electrician will usually find a way.

Hey I was planning to get the f7ns. Is it license plates visible to read? Thats my only main concern with dashcams bc when I was videos. It’s still kinda blurry or I can only makeout 2 letters.

Thanks for the info. I am considering buying one of these. If you are using the plug in power source like in your video, do you need to turn the camera on and off each time you start or finish a drive?

No. It just automatically starts and stops with the car.

Would have been nice to see how you ran the wires for the front and rear cameras. Seems like that's the trickiest part of the install.

I didn’t do a full install. I did a very temporary job to make this video. It looked like an explosion in there.

I can’t seem to make out plate numbers on the footage. Could you see them on the actual recordings?

I have this dashcam, and I have to connect the wifi via my phone Settings. Then, I open the app. If I want to keep a video, I hit download. The option is right beneath the video. Then I can watch it anywhere through the app. Hope this helps.

@@SlyD7816 I also do that, but I don’t like the idea that I have to do everything in the car. I can’t bring it into the house and download from there. Everything has to be done sitting in the car that’s very inconvenient.

How good are the suction cups? Can it withstand heat?

I don’t have it anymore I’m afraid. Low light footage is perfectly useable but obviously suffers from a little digital noise as you would expect, number plates etc fine as they’re generally going to be lit by either their car or your car.

Thanks Jim. I appreciate the review. I have a question: How can this be an unsponsored review when you are offering a discount code through the manufacturer itself? Most vendors and manufacturers don't just offer up 10% codes for free. considering that this dual camera is usually priced between $140USD to $170USD, that's ~ $15 average loss in money for the vendor. I'm pretty sure they'll want something from you in return. Perhaps I don't know what I'm talking about? Perhaps just using their name and showing the item is enough of an advertisement in their eyes? Either way, being affiliated usually doesn't mean unsponsored.

I don’t do “paid for reviews”, I often have an affiliate link or something but if I tell you something is great and it’s awful you’ll soon stop watching my content. I turn down paid reviews all the time as I’d be cheating my audience. You can watch any of my car or product reviews and know you’re getting my open and honest.

@@kenCx I've left it in my truck all winter but when the temperature starts going up I take it out and I carry it with me. I never leave it inside my car when the temperatures get too warm. The heat inside a vehicle can exceed 120°. I certainly don't want to fry my camera.
