Bulk is not an issue.I bought it at 1250.I got that wrinkles on front end and it won't be long lasting.My toes pinky finger of both feets were pushed.Uncomfortable to wear an entire day.Walk wise no discomfort pushing leg through is an issue.Overall a good shoe with 8.5 if your leg fits in good style everyone will ask you about the shoe.Shoe to wear for a party not for 8 hrs in office
