Since the 13th of December 2020 all the tutorial videos are with credits and permissions from the original creators. We can't change the past, but when we realized what we were doing wrong, we immediately changed that. We found it out by seeing some public posts on social media, instead of having the original Creators reaching out to us personally through DMs or emails to solve this. Even the gold farm tutorial you showcased at 2:19 had permission from Gnembon, but you showcased it as we just took it. This is false. So we all make mistakes, but we learned from those and improved.

EDIT: As some people have pointed out in the replies, there are several examples after 13th December 2020 where you didn't ask permission. ShulkerCraft, you flat out lied. Do better. As you said, we cannot change the past. However, one of the TMC community's main problems with your channel is that you wouldn't be where you are now without the people you ripped off. Sure, you may have tried to reform yourselves, but that doesn't change the fact that your brand was built off stealing, and your content strategy still bypasses the whole "designing" part, and goes straight to the "making a video" part. Most of your tutorials, both past and present use other people's stuff, which is why you are disliked at a fundamental level by many TMC members. It's fair enough if you had Gnembon's permission, my bad there. However, you did not have ilmango's permission.

How about Vktec's mob switch which was uploaded on June 2021 ? There's a pinned comment on Vktec's video, where he claims that the tutorial was made without permission. Vktec also said that he had asked you to remove the video, which you didn't. Blatantly lying does not help the case. Edit : The mob switch video seems to be removed after I posted this comment. I did check that video for the upload date before posting this comment.

And then there's Ilmango's bee farm, for which you uploaded a tutorial on March 21st 2021, which is way after December 2020. Knowing your relations with Ilmango, I can pretty confidently assume that Ilmango's design was taken without his permission.

@@Purplers Exactly. A businesses made from stolen money now works honestly is still a somewhat illegal business as it is where it is from the stolen money. In ur tutorial on Ianxo4's wither skeleton farm, u did ask for permission but u had made a flaw in the tutorial. Another way to give more credit to the original creator is to repeatedly credit them in the tutorial to make the viewers know that you didn't make the farm, but made the tutorial after asking their permission

I have a copper farm I built from a ShulkerCraft video and it was from it that I realized they don't actually know what they're doing and will change minor details from other creator's builds with major consequences, like saying something's safe to AFK while it has flaws that allow you to be killed in multiple ways. Definitely stay away from their tutorials, in my humble opinion.

That Discord group part was so funny to me. I'm sure they were all talking shit about you, and in a heated moment they had the brilliant idea to rope you into a call to gang up on you. After you rejected the calls and they slept on it, they probably collectively realized how petty it was (or they thought you were too chicken) and they ghosted you. That discord call was very fishy, a while ago a good friend of mine posted a video, and I won't go into too much detail, but he somehow added myself and my friend to a discord call, and it had almost the same setup as the one in your video, those people were berating us, screaming slurs and telling us how bad our content is. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, however they seemed like they had rather ill intent, as it is eerily similar to what I experienced. Not to mention, I recognise some of their names/profiles and there seems to be some rather toxic content creators in that call. Anyway, great video, super informative, keep doing what you do best!

That makes it even harder of a pill to swallow! I get a lot of my build ideas from great content creator here on KZread. But I don't make Vods out on KZread and clam them to be mine. Hey PDN! Saw you from the redstone thief video, and know you are definitely going to be succesful! Coming back, to the video part, I understand that these redstone builds were stolen without credits, most viewers won't understand, but a content creator's farms/builds stolen by other creator hurts. Take ilmango for example, he had his build stolen by shulkercraft without his permission. Which is indeed a bad thing. His views got affected, and would definitely affect his future views. Shulkercraft has majorly established themselves in the redstoner/farms community. The So Called "Production Quality" isn't that hard as Designing the actual build, at last, We all can agree that shulkercraft is nothing but a channel based on copying, that's what got them the fame and subscribers. sometimes they even compete between different farms, give credits, but don't share if they do have the permission or not. Mumbo Jumbo and ilmango are really shielded from this problem, but smaller creator's like you, or many else, get their builds stolen mercilessly. And that's bad. Just very bad. KZread Celebrated 1 trillion views about minecraft (which I certainly think is the most viewed game on this platform), thus imo, they should definitely look into this. People can't just steal content without informing the original creator and getting their permission. Until and unless KZread does something, we, the quality content watchers, would and will do something.

You really don't get anything from being mentioned somewhere in the video description. I don't get why you would defend someone that got big by ripping people off. I never agreed to my work being used on his channel.

if someone is already 20seconds into the SC copy-paste video, are they REALLY gonna go to the description and click through to the original creators video and start watching that instead? cmon. adding some "credit" in the description or even on screen isnt really the point here. besides, they built their channel on copying farms. only in the last year or so theyve also diluted the content with clickbaitey junk videos about infinite diamonds? superflatworld? wow. amazing technical redstone channel eh? end of the day, theyre just repackaging someone elses hard work and creativity. if the original farm design video didnt exist, SC would have nothing at all to work with. no amount of "production quality" would work as theres no content there in the first place

These videos gave me a lot to think. I'm an average Minecraft player who uses a lot of tutorials from those guys, cuz I don't have much time to actually design my own farm models. After seeing this, I can't help but feel kinda guilty of copying farms in my world. In a way it encourages me to take time to create my own designs, but the tutorials are pretty handy some times. I understand all the arguments and totally agree with them, but when I want to build a mega complex gold farm for example, some times i don't even have the actual knowledge to understand the explanation video. Guess the best way to make part of the technical community is actually making technical stuff yourself. (Which segregates the community in a way, but that's something else)
