I wish I knew too... Did you find a solution ? I found this tutorial kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6aj0bCAqLvSk84.html&ab_channel=Effectatron but it seems to work only with "real" textures, not any volumes or environment
Link project does not work =)
When I create the material it says "material not valid" and the noise and such doesn't seem to work. Any fix?

Do you have Redshift set as your renderer? It works fine for me in the latest c4d, the VOLUME setting on Area lights have moved though, but should work just the same otherwise
Does anyone know how can I apply same noise in Houdini for my redshift volume?

or, just go under create > redshift materials > utilities > redshift noise volume. done.
