I was really glad to see Walker Buehler do so well here after his previous outings. Knowing how he was a little frustrated with himself, I bet this was a great confidence boost, and I’m excited to see him continue to get back in the game. Can’t wait to see him rocking it in October.

@@bigj6143 Yes, but he was still throwing strikes. Even if they’d hit them and got on base, it wouldn’t change the fact that he didn’t walk anybody, and his pitching was excellent. And if the Reds have a bad offense, then we need to show them that, rather than getting pummeled 7-2. So I’m glad he got to be the one to do that, even if there are harder teams to beat. It was just a reminder for him that he’s still got it.

Great game I'll need to see more from Buehler. Before say he's back fully. You can tell the injury has him thinking on the mound. About throwing certain pitches. Way better command than his first game back. That I will say. And having a six-man rotation should help.

The fact that we can hope for a 6 man rotation is crazy. Just seeing the team struggled last year to being stacked this year is awesome

Reds fans, Ashcraft pitched pretty well. No run support means even Cy Young can't win. To be fair hitting is down just about all over the MLB now. Took away the shift and are finding out many players still can't hit. Congrats to Hurtubise on his first major league hit. Hope he has many more. Reds, sometimes execution at the plate, when a hit isn't needed, to bring a baserunner home from 3rd with less than two outs, can not only provide a run but a spark. The pitches the Reds hitters swing at have made that virtually impossible. Well Krall, guess you can begin lining up that trade bait. Someone is going. Or I should say, someone needs to go. I think Montas is likely. India, perhaps Fraley too. There will be inquiries about Lodolo, Ashcraft, Abbott, perhaps some bullpen guys. Greene is long term now so I doubt they will part with him. Prospects are a great way to keep fans hoping while charging major league fees for watching minor league teams.

Ohtani is living up to expectation whenever the biggest contract in major history is brought up.the record shows sign of united still in the team chemistry.31-17 thats 14 games above 500.will see as they go along if they go on a slump.i think all eyes on shohei to carry the team all the way plus winning the title at the end thats how it should be in comparison stand with other players in the roster salary from top to bottom.
