I'm a (french) writer and what I can say is some artist (including me) are really harsh with what they have created. A lot of hard, cold, critism about our work. Because we know that we can do better. I don't see any problem with your video, because I could have say the same thing (with a lot more of critism) with old story I wrote. (And I can see that you had fun critism it...) Some people understood. Others didn't. But I do understand and I'm not mad and I wanted to let you know ! =) For the drawing... I don't really like the "weird shading" (on the right side) because the Simpsons are kind of flat, but it's nice that YOU like it and proud of what you drew ! =) But in general, I like it ! =) Keep having fun ! =)

I love seeing redrawing of old drawings. The improvement and changes in style is so motivating for beginner artists and that it's ok to make mistakes as we start from somewhere and the start may not always be perfect.

I loved the new drawing even more then ur old one u made it even better then it was. The new one u drew was really cool and I loved the shading u did on it. It's way better then the way they draw it in the cartoon even though it's a classic.

Holy crap! I never noticed the uniqueness of that tattoo before now. The segments (I'm not gonna say this right) where the skin looks like flames coming up the arm from the wrist is really cool! The section @ 0:43/44 is the best.

This drawing captures more depth than the current “Simpsons” seasons. I’m currently rewatching the show on Disney + and all of Homer’s antics and who is as a character can be summed up your drawing. Great work as usual!

I had a California Giant Rabbit for a pet when I was little. He lasted 7 years, which is very old for a rabbit. He would follow me everywhere, sit between my legs if there was a lot of people around. He loved playing chase with me, and he loved it when I held him while lying in the sun. He was my baby. I miss him a lot. I was 12 when he died. And his name was Thumper. Yes I’m a Bambi fan.

Arteza Coloured Pencils = VERY GOOD! My fave is still Polychromos (Faber Castell), but Arteza is, believe it or not, my second choice. :) Yes, I even like them more than my Prismacolors (even my "Berol" ones from Canada back in the late '90's I still have!). When I want to do SOLID colours that are HIGHLY OPAQUE...the "Black Widows" series from, uh, Black Widow (I have all of there's as well). .. Anyway...just voicing my vote for anyone still on the fence about Arteza Colored Pencils; get the full set, they are easily worth it! :)

Idea for another playlist that includes interacting with fans/viewers. Set up a business email where fans can send you drawings on a topic of your choosing. You trace it with your light pad and professionally color it.

The paper was in perfect condition considering it was from your childhood - I was expecting creases and old tape marks !

The lesson to learn really - is the past v future, is that there's more experimenting with coloring, and shadowing, and line work -- which in my opinion is a good thing -- I always feel bad, that you end up being so harsh on yourself for your younger self's artwork, I mean you had to start somewhere? and that I feel is where most people start, not starting point is ever bad if it leads to evolution... :) -- so it is good to see the past, and see ones progression :)
