subtle headturns are so hard yea… almost every single artbook or tutorial only explains 1/4 or 3/4th head rotations making anything in-between a huge challenge. Your Frieren one look amazing… could have easily been an official artpanel used for marketing.

I like how you say the things you don’t like about your work because it’s a reminder that we’re all human, and that KZreadrs aren’t perfect. All of them look stunning by the way.

I LOVE HOW YOU DREW THE SECOND ONE!!! I don’t watch anime at all, but the way you rendered the flowers and background for that drawing was amazing! I could only dream of doing that lol. (It also gave me flashbacks to the time I tried to do a similar background like that in 2022 💀.) but I also love the first redraw you did as well! Honestly, I prefer ur redraw better, but it’s probably because the colors are brighter and I love brighter colors :). (Also I could relate with not knowing how to draw a slightly turned head, right now I’m just stuck drawing 3/4 view 😭!!!) I hope you’re having a great weekend so far! They’re so pretty, I think the second one is my favorite just because I love when things are drawn tiny. I don’t know why, but I even feel that way in my own art 💕 I love them both tho, the eyes are so pretty and you did a very good job making them mesmerizing and shiny. And the hair in both are super flowy and detailed ✨ I almost forgot today was Saturday so waking up to a video was super nice 😂

This video was the final tipping point for me to watch My Happy Marriage, and AHHHHHHHHH it was so good. I cried TWICE in the first episode, and I think episode 6 is one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I watched that episode last night, then went back to rewatch scenes right after, and before I started to watch today I had to re-rewatch those scenes. It was so good! Thanks for featuring it here!

Ok so watched the whole thing, absolutely love the redraws! And I got some new recommendations, so excited to start watching some of the shows you mentioned! Been kinda fed up with romance anime feeling very “shounen” (directed towards a male audience) and felt that there wasn’t a true shoujo that appeared since like 2016, but I’m ready to get back into it :D Also about Frieren, I’m not sure which scenes you are referring to (the three demons on “political business?”), but it definitely does get violent at times, but the scenes that show explicit gore are pretty rare. It does go into some rather serious and deep topics (mostly about morality and ethics, things like that), and some acts of violence are implied or not directly shown. I really do suggest watching it still, since most of it is almost like slice of life, very sweet and soothing and the character interactions are great and hilarious even at times. But, if you can’t get past the more violent scenes then it might not be the best anime for you (also, I do remember you mentioning you usually can stomach violence better reading manga, so maybe it can be an option for you?). And btw, I’m not trying to force you to watch it, I hope I don’t come off as too pushy, I just really like Frieren ^^’

I know right, I wish we would get more true Shoujo! Yes, those are the episodes I was referring to. I've gotten through most of those episodes, I think I have one more with them in it, so I may continue, but we will see. Thanks for the info. ^u^

I think that the only anime I really cried was Violet Evergarden, Its sad but so satisfying to watch, the backgrounds and characters are so beautiful but it happens some time after war so it has a good amount of blood in some episodes (especially in Violets backstory)
