Remember people the two line he deleted might not be in same position for you. in this video those lines were 10 and 11 but for me , those lines were in 8 and 9. so be careful while doing that folks.

if you watch this in 2021 , dont try it with new redmi serise like note 8 note 9 ......, because it will brick your phone , and you will not be able to enter a fastboot mode neither recovery mode, i mean your phone will not booting , if you tried it , you need to flash stock rom using mi flash tool and mi authorized account , that no one have it , expect the xiaomi srevice center.

i'm trying edl and even so i get this error

delete mismatch image and device line.. some device not on same line.. read 1st before delete

worked for me. Just find these 2 lines and delete them and save the file

I have launched a command line in the adb folder and enter "fastboot flashing unlock_critical" while having my phone connected to PC into the fastboot mode. After that my phone flashed normally. I hope it helps

Don't do it....your phone will be dead after this....you can't even go to fastbootmode after this

Hey Thanks. But I was wondering "why??". I found in forums, this error is throw when ROM is not correct to the device. I don't wanna force installing a wrong ROM. Anyway, thank you for sharing. Edit: Finally I try it and I got a half-break. So, I do not advice it. Solution is easy if you're lucky and fastboot remains in device (I lost recovery menu) just find a right ROM and flash it. I'm on it. If I got more problems, I will tell.

Bro did u delete the correct lines? Because the video helped me with my k20 pro . Its not the line mentioned above in all cases . But the line that checks the version.
