I dont think a34 is optimized some user in my country is experiencing battery drain and glitch on video calling 😅ONE UI is really bad at optimizing its just over hype for samsung which is really disappointing

Can you compare a34 vs a54?

Buying the note 12 pro+ for my father and the A34 for my mother :D they both are great its just who prefers what brand.

Easy win for samsung a34, I wish the a54 came out with a better processor

I will go for Samsung. Any day, anytime.

I have the a34 5g rn and i had the Xiaomi note 12 pro 5g. Well i will pick the Xiaomi every single time. First, the Xiaomi screen is way better. It has hdr10 +, wide gamut color, dci p3+, and a hole punch wich is way better thant that outdated thing that samsung has. The cameras are literally the same level. The fast charging is wayyy faster on the redmi, the sound is better on the Samsung tho. The design, well the two phones are good enough and close on this point. But the software ? Its wayy better on the redmi man, lik really way better. Check this out, i used the redmi and i was having 0 problems with it. Not one single drop of fps no matter what i was doing. The samsung ?? Bruh its a mess, it wont stop stuttering and lagging in every occasion possible. Its slow with some apps, the screen lags while playing a video with picture in picture and when the quality of the said video is 4k 60fps the phone becomes almost inusable. Bruh even the Oppo find x3 lite i was having a while ago and wich was way less powerfull was doing way better 😂😂... I am laughing to make the point but i am crying to have choose that stupid phone, because i should have chose the pixel 6a... Hopefully i will change it next month but i have just wasted + than 360 euros on this damn phone... And yeah, i will never in an infinite ammount of time go back to Samshit. Never again.

Does the redmi have chip level security like knox which the A34 has?

What one would you choose for best battery life, best storage as well as best ram and best camera, best speakers and I love love Omoled screens. When i had the PS Vita that screen was so so amazing then suddenly they started bringing it to phones and tvs. I am in Cape Town and i have the Redmi 8 or 9 it was 2nd hand given to me without tempared glass screen protector or back cover. So it dropped twice recently and caused problems but before the drops it started going and the phone was already 18months old when i was given it by a friend last year march. I love the redmi phones but also thinking of the Samsung A34 or A56. Tho the Xoumi Redmi Not 12 Pro 4G here in CT at incredible connection comes with powerbank and its on special price brought down to R6299 which it was R7500

The disadvantage of redmi note 12 pro 5g is the 1080p selfie camera and the software issues

my past 2 phones xiaomi and redmi (but before that is samsung) i've given up on xiaomi and redmi, the better hardware for slightly cheaper price is NOT worth it.

Chose samsung A34 an I have no regrets thus far. Been a week using it

Great comparison but you need to quickly edit the battery section as you've made a big mistake - GSMARENA notes that the 12Pro+ has a weak battery endurance of 88 hours and the A34 pulls off an exemplary 133 hours. This is a huge difference and needs to be factored into your battery section. Thoughts are that it's either Miui's poor software optimisation causing the huge discrepancy - or a dodgy modem.

I own Redmi note 12 pro+ 88hrs and i charge 0-100% 20mins while you own A34 133hrs and charges 0-100% in 2hrs which is better? 😂😂 I've been using note 12pro+ for about 3weeks now and it's feels like I don't charge because of how short charging time is.

And this is my point. Would you rather have rapid charging, but weak battery life and poor long-term battery health.. or slower charging, but strong battery life with strong long-term battery health? You'd have to have a screw missing to go with the Redmi 😂

I love when stupid ppl like talking with no idea wtf they are talking about... Miui have a poor optimisation ? Bruh one u shit is a mess, its slow, laggy, and its design is outdated as hell because it is the same till it got launched. I have the samsung a34 5g that i had to choose almost by default, well guess what, next month i will buy a pixel 7a and sell back this mess of samsung stupid phone. Every day i am struggling to not snap that stupid phone in half and burn it after because of the poor performance it puts in every single situation. Its slow af, lags every time it has to and this is the worst phone i had so far. Even some a22 at the time were better thant piece of junk.

Believe or not the a34 is half the price of the redmi note 12 pro + in my country so it's an easy pick

If i need a future proof phone, it is safe to go for samsung.

You can get 256GB 8GB ram in the Samsung to. You didn't mention that. If your going to do comparison make sure you give all information.

Well i can say with certainty that they will deliver the 4 years of os updates i had a a51 2019 and still updates today with android 13 and security updates

Both the A34 and A54 were officially launched in the US.

Redmi note 12 pro plus is better than A34, in many spheres except for the 4 years os updates promised on the Samsung as to 2 years on the Redmi. Redmi MIUI has phenomenally optimized the Dimensity 1080 chip that it plays the likes Of GENSHIN Impact at highest settings with no lags and no heating for more than 30mins of full gaming. Not to even mention the water drop notch on the Samsung which is so 2018, no charger out of the box, no protective case and over 230k for a 6gb/128gb variant while the base model of the Redmi note 12 pro plus is 8/256gb. Only the A54 compares to the Redmi note 12 pro plus regardless of it's 5nm chipset compared to Redmi's 6nm.

Redmi note 12 is not better in many spheres than A34. Welp, note 12 may be better in certain areas. But the performance made the A34 a beast of a phone. One difference between A34 and A54, is the plastic back and the U-notch. But the chipset and the screen size of the A34 is much better than the A54. I won't add a few hundred dollars for a glass back and punch hole camera. Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is a decent phone for midrangers. And I'm still not talking about the 4 year OS updates yet.

There are no updates in the a34. The processor is not supported and slow. I regret that I bought it. The interface has defects. Communication with memory is very slow.
