This is quite a good device, plus it will be updated until 2026, plus it supports a memory card, current phones no longer have this, well, if you don't take it for games, then this device is good

Yeah it lags on gaming i can't feel the snapdragon in this.

Doesn't work on MetroPCS(T-mobile) US. For some reason can't call anyone but can answer every call. Once number call me then I can call him back but not other way. Weird

Does it have a built in call recording feature ? and is it with the pre installed screen guard ?

The phone comes with a plastic screen protector which you can switch to a glass one. There is also a screen recorder

Volume buttons are completely fricked, when doing a screenshot, phone continues to mute the volums for next 10 seconds

This phone will get 2 years of OS updates,which means it could probably be updated passed andriod 13.

Not recommend to update to the last version they plan to release When xiaomi releases the final os update, they intentionally make it buggy (slow) And you cant revert to a previous version of the software. Not easily that is To go back you need to remove all accounts, enable usb debugging and some other security feature. Then you need to plug it into a pc in fastboot mode Then on your pc you have to log into a xiaomi account to unlock the bootloader and wait 7 days for it to verify After that you need to use miflash to flash the phone with the correct os for the phone And while flashing, you risk bricking the device. If you do anything wrong while flashing then the phone will never work again

Its literally Redmi Note 10 Pro in a different design lol

Mine runs on Android 13 right now

The only thing I bought it for was the memory card slot and headphone jack and a good cell phone

All new smartphones don't have a P2 input And they are also removing the memory card slot, well, I couldn't find another one for a good price other than this one, it's simple and has a beautiful design.

You suggested the Samsung A24 . Small 4gig, no NFC which everyone needs today, no 67 charging, apart from the price range i do not see any comparison and i believe d the Redmi is a far better phone.

Android 12 is outdated, since Android 14 Beta 4 is out. I believe if it shipped with Android 13, Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G would be a great buy

Many phones still have Android 12 it will be relevant in 2-3 years, all the latest programs will be installed on it, if there was Android 9, then it would already be outdated, but Android 12 is normal

I still prefer it to Samsung, I have used Samsung,A ,M , note and S series and I'll say I'll never use Samsung again , the inbuilt Gboard on Xaomi makes trying smooth and easy compared to Samsung that I'll have to download Gboard and it won't still be as smooth as I wanted

Redmi note 10 pro is even much better than this with the same chipset.. it's brighter when using it under the sun, dual speakers on 10 pro are far much better, the camera also...better contrast on 10 pro...haha

Lots of bugs. Worst. I hate mine

I just buy brand new xiaomi note 12 pro and totally disappointed. Camera is ultra bad - colors are not good, battery life is just few hours, display is actually working on 60hz and not 120hz. It's a waste of money.

Hey @markokatic7685 you can try updating the device to android 12 and see if it will improve its performance. Then you can change the refresh rate from 60 to 120 in the display settings.
