Xiaomi launched the global versions of the Redmi Note 11 series few weeks ago, and while many were excited for the design, there were disappointments, mostly because the global versions were not packing as much power as the Dimensity powered China variants. The Redmi Note 11 is the base of the series, powered by the Snapdragon 680 and bringing improvements such as a 90hz refresh rate display and improved design. Not much else has changed performance wise. This is a detailed review of the Redmi Note 11.

Nice one Izzi, thanks for the review. I noticed my background light becomes unstable when I put my redmi note 11 on 90hrtz refresh rate. What could be the cause of that? Also I can't find the Second Space option on my device. Help!!

I've not noticed that. As for second space, go to special features under settings it should be there. Also check to make sure you've downloaded the latest update

I noticed the screen flickering issue too, it happens only in dark mode, but it was fixed with the latest update (13.0.5)

I'm actually considering the Poco M4 pro. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the IPS LCD screen. I'm currently using the Redmi note 9pro max. Poco m4 pro is the only one that comes close performance wise to the Snapdragon 720g I'm currently using

Won't work with a Tecno device. Mostly works with Snapdragon powered devices and in some cases, Exynos
How Is it that cheap? On jumia, raya, slot the 6gb version is up to 119k
5:05 I used this phone today and the transparent part is just like the 11s. The software is mui13.0 1.
So between the galaxy A14 128gb n this redmi note 11,which will you recommend

Coming from basic Note 9 I am pretty happy with Note 11 especially with a custom ROM. DC dimming is a must have on a cheapo amoled screen, don't know why miui didn't include the option, sunce its working great on custom

Do you have a budget you're working with? If budget is not a problem you can just go for the Redmi K40 gaming or Poco X3 GT

If the price is too good to be true you should avoid it. Also read reviews before buying anything. If it doesn't have enough reviews, avoid it

It's not bad and like I mentioned in the video, if you're coming from maybe the Redmi 10 or Redmi 9 or a lesser device, it's a great buy. But if you own a Note 10, unless you really need the 90hz refresh rate this device isn't different from that one
Hey man.got the note 11 yesterday it actually does come with 1080p 60fps but immediately you update the software it disappears

@@Blyt_RR3 Nigeria has $100 international transaction limit on their cards. Some banks allow up to $200. In the event your purchase will exceed $200 you won't be able to use a naira debit card. The only solution to that is either get a dollar debit card or use Barter by Flutterwave, get a virtual dollar card and fund it

@@sadikjuma5519 actually it will be in about a week. It was released in the first week of March 2021. If it was a Tecno device I'd say OK, expect another in 6 months. But the earliest we'll likely see the Redmi Note 12 series is 4th quarter of this year

Why don't you people ever talk about the oversharpening issue redmi has with their video viewing. I have redmi note 11s and it seriously oversharpens videos and makes them look not so good

I think I know what you mean though but what I see is videos having extra contrast. You could probably tone it down by adjusting and tweaking the phones color profile in the display settings. I think it's mostly common on the Mediatek ones so it might have to do with the processor's optimisation for video
