An interesting review. I'd like a bit more on camera performance - both still and video - and evidence of any advantage in terms of detail etc, over less pixel dense smartphone cameras. A bit in gaming performance would be useful. Does it play popular games like Call of Duty, at modest resolution, without getting hot? Finally, as this is a 5G model, it would be good to compare its actual 5G download times with a decent 4G smartphone. In reality, just how much faster is it? Would be interested in performance comparisons of download times experienced, when using it as a WiFi hotspot around the house, on a laptop, for 4K video streaming, and downloading etc. How does its 5G capability when used in this way, compare with 'fast fibre' broadband at home?

The Xiaomi 12 pro and 12 are pretty good phones. 12 Ultra is still to release and the China version of the redmi note 11 looks better than the global version

Yeah any performance from RN11 pro 5G are just decent, sd 695 didn't even did greatly with gaming without game booster and the exciting features i could see is the Design,5G,Display,Speakers and the Durable protectors like Gorilla glass 5 and IP53 rating water and dust resistant.

are we realistically gonna see widespread 5g coverage in malaysia in the next few years. and even so, is it that much better? or would the non 5g version be just fine

Is the proximity sensor fixed or not? On the redmi note 10 it is a major problem, the screen stays on during calls and your ear presses the buttons sometimes ending the call prematurely. Its a major fail for the RedMi note 10, is it Fixed in the RedMi note 11? Possible the most important thing you missed in your review and the phones biggest flaw.

RN11 pro china version spec wise is a more powerful phone... and Chinese MIUI is much more stable than global, you will get more and faster updates.. ofc if you're not actually in China, using them is just a headache... just get global...

I 100% totally agree with you!!! Snapdragon 695 and Dimensity 920 lack of power and they can't even handle or support the capabilities of the 108mp camera... resulting medium quality photos... AMOLED screen of both Note 11 pro 5G and Plus, cannot stay always On showing the Notifications and time.... Only limited to 10 seconds... If these 2 phones where equipped with the Best Snapdragon of all times 870, that is Powerful, just one click behind the 888, and Super Battery Efficient (888 is battery tragic)....then the Redmi Note 11 pro plus would be the Phone of the Year 2022...but unfortunately it isn't!!!

Go RedBull.... I see what you did there. :P Nevertheless, a nice review. Having small palms, wished they had reduced its weight to less than 200gms. With an addition of case, it would easily cross 215 gms which would be quite heavy, imo.

In my country, M52 5g with SD778 is selling at about $298, isn't it's a steal compared to this note 11 pro 5g? 530k is antutu score against 400k ish. However, it has plastic back, no stereo speaker, and no headphone jack. Also it's charging power is only at 25W with 15W shipped with the phone. I really think samsung really worth more than the xiaomi, how do you guys think of it?

@@YusssoM Just speaking from my experience, though some might see it as minor problems. My Mi 11 Lite 4G has quality issues. The screen's pixel response is slow, and it has blue tint and black crush issue all together. And personally, the bugs from MIUI is too damn annoying as I have experienced numerous occasions where the bugs or random lags caused the frame rate to drop significantly. Not to mention that the signal strength is kinda weaker, where I can get a stronger signal with the same sim card on my Oppo Reno5 F. Anyway like I mentioned, it's just my personal experience, their quality control and MIUI might have improved. But the damage has been done, so I'm not going to use any Xiaomi or sub-brand related with it anymore. Hope my experience will be a reference for you.

@@praisetheF00L Wrong, Redmi note 10 pro's Macro camera is flag ship level, having autofocus and the 5MP resolution gives you outstanding results.

If you are not after performance and 5g but well balanced spec and great camera then the Note 10 pro is the obvious choice.

I am disappointed be honest with you, because compared to Note 10 pro I really don't see any proper upgrade, am I wrong? I think its better to wait for the Note 12 pro to come out.

China version is better in specs. That global version is downgrade
