(I know im late but here you go) Latency means how late the sound reaches your ears , for example when you are playing bgmi and you press fire button , if the latency is high you will hear the sound a little later . This problem is because of Bluetooth physics but nowadays a lot of buds are available which have low latency

The conclusion was you get a better package with OnePlus as compared to redmi if you don't necessarily need in ear detection which is quite buggy, as for the sound OnePlus is better than redmi. He also said that you can go and save your 500INR and go with onepus

Redmi has the concept and the means but this headset is too buggy. Sometimes the tap doesn’t work, the in ear is buggy too. It dont let the music or video play back when you put the earphones back. For me the headache isnt worth the price for this one. But i hope they update the software. Then it will be worth it, but right now its not.

I’m willing to disable everything on the buds 5 as long as ONE thing works flawlessly, dual connection! I hate having to switch between the iPhone and iPad. I don’t care about in ear detection, don’t even care about noise cancellation, transparency mode etc, the only thing I really want is to avoid this kerfuffle of switching between devices 😂
