I have had this reel for a year or so. It is on my 4 weight Pro 3, and I really like it. It's finish isn't the toughest, but it really is a nice looking, light little reel that just does well.
I stil have a Redington CT Clicker from 18 years ago now. Still use it, this one looks great for the price and should last a while.
I use one on my 1 weight. It serves it's purpose, but like you stated, the noise is horrible!
It might be a fun reel for fighting Shad 🎣
They have avocado and grey colors too, I guess they discontinued the sand color. These are good for the shorter fly rods where you don’t want a reel that is too heavy. The click is loud, but on these it’s enough drag to prevent a backlash most of the time, which is all you need for some kinds of fishing.

Been looking for a 2/3 avocado for a while now. Wish they brought that color back. 😢
I have one and at first it worked great. Now the line won’t wind tight and it keeps getting tangled.
Go with a Wychwood river and stream, or better yet danielsson midge or dry fly reel if weights an issue…. But nothing beats the sounds of a hardy marquis which you can pick up for not much more.
I see everybody whine about the sound. Just put a dab of grease on the pawl if you want to quiet it.
I bought this reel for my daughter online. I've never been bothered by reel sound but the sound of the zero is awful.
