I like how the guy on the right broke down the aesthetics of this video. Blackpink has a lot of symbolism in their MVs. A lot of them can be found in Lovesick Girls. Blackpink MVs tell a story.They don’t just throw random things to make an eye candy. Each scene is carefully thought out to tell a story that may not even be evident at first watch. I highly recommend you rewatch the Lovesick Girls MV (on your own time) and find all the symbolisms on how they visually represent the message of the song (the first scene already has two or three going). As filmmakers, I think you will find that highly enjoyable and informative.

You were discussing about BlackPink singing seamlessly between Korean & English. Unless you know 2 or more languages, switching between both may not be apparent to those who only know 1 language. And yes these gals can sing in both & they are all multilingual with at least 2 languages. Lisa knows 5 languages fluently. People that know 2 languages fluently often have/had parents that have communicated to them in both languages since they were born, such as where in one situation those parents had to immigrate from one country to another & had to learn the new country's language in order to survive but still kept their parent country's tongue. Once it learns 2 or more languages, the brain can handle them all & can easily switch between them while talking. The other primary scenario is obviously learning the language in a classroom setting & while you are learning a new language, you never really lose your main language, the one you were probably born into. Now of course, there is another type of language called computer language, which is for programming computers. I know, or knew, about 7 or more different programming languages & could switch between them, although in this case, all of them had code words in English. Imagine a computer program language editor that could have code words in at least 2 or 3 different languages, including different character symbols from different human languages & you can mix them all up as you type out a program. You would be considered a polyglot in both human & computer. But I digress ... Oh & the other reason that BP is also singing in English is so that they can break through western media & perhaps radio airwaves, while still maintaining their cultural roots as K-idols.

Actually Lisa fluent in Thai, Korean, English and Japan. The other language just a basic. Rose, Jisoo and Jennie fluent in Korean, English(jisoo is improving) and Japan. Same goes to them the other language is just basic.

Actually, Lisa is only fluent in Korean, Thai and English. Rosé and Jennie are fluent in English and Korean and jisoo is fluent in Korean only and understands English. Idk why yall exaggerate how many languages they know

Cant say I’m a huge BP fan (not much of a discography but there’s definitely a few that I love) but I genuinely believe that this is their best title track. The production, vocal/rap performance, the concept, the visuals, it just all worked so well together this time around (imo). It just all works for me with this song.

@@Ahjusshi_Brown that one side but do you even know 1- they are paid highest amoung whole Kpop industries 70% ( SM pays 30% to their groups ) 2- they have time to follow their other interests such as modeling ( they all are global ambassador in top of the line fashion brands ) 3- they are not overworked they have time to hang out with family and friends 4 - They relese 3-4 MV each year which i think is decent 5- The main problem is their are not enough songs on their albums

If a fandom gets mad at you for not liking the group they stan, it's on them for not knowing that people have their own likes and dislikes. I don't blame you guys for not liking a lot of BP's songs; I didn't get into them until late 2020. I wouldn't call myself a Blink 100% but I like some of their songs. Their mv are just for the hype you know , the real deal is their b-side songs ...me myself became a fan because of their side tracks and not mv ... I hope you'll listen to them .

As you've probably discovered by now, some "Blinks" and fans of other groups and genres, may not take kindly to a lack of pure adoration towards these ladies (pouring it on a bit thick for affect), but ignore it - some genres, artists and music will be your 'thing', some will be very much the opposite - that's 100% cool as we all like different things. Not to offend you but ma'am can you explain how alike The way i interpret your comment is (correct me if I am wrong) 1- Their song structure is same that means 3 of them sing and 2 of them rap and 2 times chrous hits and at last their is a dance breakdown . They only shuffle rap and vocals order . So ma'am plz explain what you expect from them all 4 beagin to rap rap or all 4 begains to just sing no drop nothing . Using brass is their signature style . And each and every song has different beat they are not copied The things they do is basic of every k-pop song how can they change it plz give a suggestion ? The only think common is basic parts to put in song 2 rap parts 4-5 vocal parts 2 chrous and 1 breakdown that are also arrenged each time differently . And these are the things that every group uses how are these songs alike

Their Miguel cover is not great. If you do a cover of a song it either needs to be as good as or better. it wasn't.
