My problem with this is that this happens to black women too. stop making this a blackmen vs black women thing. black women are the lowest paid income group. just because some men are bums stop trying to cast a shadow over the few who are are attracted to you. the men who have their shit together dont want these women. so they must not be an attractive partner so they keep running into bums.

I'm really really glad that more women are realizing that dating is not this mandatory, obligatory lifestyle choice and that opting out completely often does bring so much more peace and clarity than trying to spend years/decades trying to "crack the code" on how to find a good man. Everything in my life got better once I stopped dating, not even exaggerating. I don't even want casual companionship with men anymore, the nicest thing they can do for me at this point is stay TF out of my way.

The number 1 rule still applies whether you’re 20 or 50 - you have NO business dating if you’re broke. You need to focus on getting your financial ducks in a row. That woman in the post was smart for passing by those bums, but the reality is it didn’t affect them at all. They’ll keep doing what they’re doing because they know that they’ll find a sugar mama because there are women out there that are so desperate to have a man that they’ll do anything to get one.

@@williammcneill2753 Well, I hope it _was_ a happy union for them, truly, but this is *terrible* advice. Just because they were married doesn't mean their union was a happy one, as we never know what happens behind closed doors. A lot of women have been coming out to talk about the reality of their marriages, or their parents/grandparents marriages, and the truth is coming out about those long-suffering women, who had to endure infidelity, disrespect and violence from their partners, all for the sake of their children, or because they had no options to leave. It is this exact reason, or part of it, that a majority of older women report that they would *_never_* marry again, or even live with a man again, after experiencing years of marriage. I have seen some relationships amongst pastors, and other religiously "devout" individuals play out, and observed shocking levels of infidelity and abuse throughout the entirety of the relationship, with many of those people weaponizing the community of the church to keep the women trapped in those relationships through societal pressure, or religious-based psychological warfare (guilt, shame, and the idea of eternal damnation for disobedience). Additionally, even if everything went well for that couple, the contemporary men of today have shown, time and time again, that they are not interested in, nor even fit to pursue long term relationships. It's a rarity now, especially anything like a 60 yr marriage. Today's men, through their own mouths, and actions have expressed that are not interested in fatherhood, marriage, education, the workforce, community leadership, community involvement, genuine friendships, religious pursuits or anything else. This is also backed by statistical evidence. These "rules" came about through the repeated observations of male behavior across generations. It would be foolish for us to not learn from the mistakes of others, especially when, as women, *_we_* will be the ones getting told we should've chosen better. Getting involved with men who are financially unstable is a sure-fire route to absolute derailment, or even ruination, of a woman's plans, dreams, and pursuits, especially since these types will trap you, usually with a baby (but no marriage), in order to secure _themselves._ They are known to either be leeches/deadweight *or* as users, getting women to fund and facilitate businesses, or other pursuits, only to leave her with nothing (except maybe some kids) in the end when they've to _their_ goal, through her hard work. To be honest, it's often a ticket to an early grave; these men don't have anything to lose, so they don't value anything, and can unalive you through driving up your stress with their complaining/mistreatment, or through actual violence. While this isn't the case for all men, sure, but the instances of trifling, degenerate behavior are now too many to be discounted. It doesn't matter if it's not so men anymore, because the ones who _aren't_ like them do nothing to stop them. These broke men aren't an investment, and if they are, then they need to invest themselves, by themselves, and do it on their own, just as women have had to (being shamed and labeled gold diggers if otherwise).

The House and a Hole comment is EXACTLY it. At 50, this is what they are looking for. I know a person who is dating and sleeping with a deadbeat, dude. He lives with his mom, and she picks him up and drives him to her house. He was unemployed but has since got a job. However, he still has no car, is living off his 80 yr old mom, and does not support his children. I had someone from the past try me. It was short-lived. Although he was self-employed and had a car. He had a roommate, bad credit, sleep apnea(machine), prostate issues, ED (I never gave him access to me), and a pre-teen. The lifestyle I created for myself was not conducive with his, nor what I wanted for myself. At 51, I'm a retired emptynester. I am not, will not, and can not care for, support, sleep with, or next to any man NOT on my level. No way, no how, NO SIR! No, thank you.

Actually before my now age of 63 I knew this about Males attitudes and watched them from a young girl to the present.Theyre hatred is as real as we are breathing. We only serve two purposes for them no matter what changes have been made in the last century or more ...1 To be Quiet 2 Give them Sex without. Repercussions and the third one wth a fourth edge Maintain the household and raise the children without assistance. This has been and with many others it's their Mantra. Remember these are Males with Male dominated thinking because Men who are taking care of their households, businesses, and are building, destroying old structures and restructuring other dynamics are not out here caring about breaking down social constructs, worrying about our hair, nails, or if we're educated or not. I'm so sick of these Dust Mites leeching off the whole planet and in their deconstruction on the ideals (mind you they've created) all of Us have to suffer for it. What's worse is at the rate they're going in this modernized era they're going to try to take Us out with them.. A male is a Male and with the way many of them think it's a scary place in this world for Us, young boys .and young girls because of the way it's going. They're hate for the Feminine dynamic they want is also what they hate.😮 Look around you😢

When I divorced my ex, you'd should've seen how many men who reached out in order to take his place. Many even tried to get in close with our children. When my ex got sick and died, ngaz he'd call friend started calling. Yet, some of our younger sisters think were jealous of them when they get with these hobosexuals! No. At my age, I'm trying to amass 7 figure income and I'm going to go international. I'm not using my money for go fund me funerals and dialysis meals. Nope, not doing it. I also love our cats. We have two babies: Leo and Biers. I have no trouble out of them so threatening me to be a cat lady does nothing but make me smile!

That’s why they’re so mad at women 30+ who have requirements, and their rebuttal is “after you’ve wasted your “prime”, 20s”, now you want to have standards. So many bm are responding to this bw video on Instagram about what she wants, one of them said after you done scking 🍆 now you want to have expectations. What they really have an issue with since they don’t have anything, 30+ women should take them as they are and be glad a man looks their way. Even woman’s in theirs 20s, they don’t give those women anything tangible she can look back on. If the women weren’t doing anything, the children wouldn’t be able to go to the best schools, eat decent foods above McDonald’s dollar menu. They see women in their 20s as new clothes, they want to be able to wear those clothes, then discard them when they’re done. Men, especially bm are sick. I leave them all alone.

1st RED FLAG… if a man is inviting you out on a BreakFast Date, he’s broke… You only go out to eat breakfast together, after you’ve been out in several dinner dates already… But an initial breakfast date should be an automatic no..Also ladies, stop letting these men dictate where to have a date.. He should be asking where you would like to go out on a date.. Personally I wouldn’t go out to eat at all, I would suggest a show.. I’m in NY, so a comedy show, a Broadway or off Broadway show.. (they have to buy tickets ahead of time) Ur supposed to spend money on a real date.. and if he doesn’t have it, tell him to save up for it and move on.. Suggest real dates and you will quickly see who is broke or not.. Dating is about weeding out the ones you don’t want, stop wasting ur energy on men that can’t measure up..

You can do you, but a comedy show or Broadway for the first few dates is not for me (I live in NY too). You can't talk to the date during the show and I'd rather spend the time having a conversation with the person and getting to know them. Coffee dates are a minimal investment and have multiple exit strategies so I prefer them for first dates. If there are additional dates, then I'd rather go out to eat somewhere, no matter if it's breakfast or dinner or do an activity like bowling or visiting a museum where I can actually talk to the person.

I believe in meeting in public. I'm not going to anyone's house. I flat out told him I was uncomfortable with that. He actually said, "and they wonder why they're single". My elderly relative lives in a senior community and baybee the stories she tells me are wild, her fellow senior citizen neighbors tell her of all kinds of debauchery. She said the reason why she decided to never ever marry and stay celibate after becoming a widow is that HIV/AIDS is rampant in the building according to the care team (onsite doctors/nurses), but these elderly men keep all of their money to take younger women on dates and trick off, while having 5 or more elderly women on the property that are lonely paying all their bills. People are having orgies, partner swaps, etc. and most of the women are infatuated by these dusty men, while those men do nothing for them but bare minimum. She's 70 and said she have seen women her age fighting over the elderly menz at the retirement home. Police has had to be called on several occasions. And the retirement community she's at is "upscale" so I can only imagine what goes in in low income areas. Geeez! 😮‍💨

When I lived in MI, rural area outside of Detroit. There was an apartment bldg in Detroit with mostly seniors living there. A nurse told me, there was several bm who were HIV positive, sexually active and refused to get treatment after testing positive. As a result, they were threatening to terminate their leases. Several older women in the bldg contracted HIV from those bm. The women did get the treatment for it and survived. Later, I found out all the bm had passed away, but one. None took the steps to save their own lives. Could you imagine your grandmother contracting HIV in her later years???

So, that is likely why I mostly get communications and dates from men with disposable income. I like meeting for breakfast dates so that you can have a moment to get to know this person without that “we might bump n grnd after this” mood hanging over the whole outing. You sit there and have a light meal, converse to see what’s going on with this other person, and then when you’re done, you still have the rest of the day to do what you want. He can keep a cool head and not be thinking “and then we go to bed” the whole time he’s talking to you. If he’s working with less cash and admits to it, no harm no foul. He was honest and now you know. You can decide how you want to proceed and he doesn’t have to worry about an expensive meal he really can’t afford. Easy peasy.

In its simplest form.. it’s *reaping what you sow.* All the money in the world doesn’t buy love. And when it’s all said and done, when you’re alone, lonely and crave love, companionship and caring, a stranger will only give you 2 of those 3 things. Because money can buy companionship and care. I know, I’m a caregiver. But not love. Especially if You’ve spent a lifetime being a selfish prick. Applies to women, too. I’ve been in big homes. With long hallways, beautiful expensive art, and high ceilings. More tricks and treats than you can imagine. But I’m here to tell you the void of family and love has a deafening heartbeat. And dying alone, sad and without love has a very different smell than going in peace, ensconced in the love one grew, nurtured and reciprocated in their lifetime.

I don’t see a problem with coffee dates. If you’ve been on enough dates, you know the types of questions to ask, how to frame it while appearing ‘fit feminine and friendly’ to get them to tell on themselves. Spoiler: they always tell on themselves. Coffee dates are safer (day, public) and it doesn’t leave you with a dinner bill that you may have to pay cause someone decided to date broke. Plus it lets you know that it may or may not go any further after this.

This is a sad state that men are in. I think the question that we should be asking is, "From this point is.. What are parents and caregivers doing to help break this cycle that we're seeing with men young or old?" I'm saying this because times are becoming more difficult for humans to survive. And if this cycle is not broken. Especially in the black/brown communities, how can survival be sustained. Yes, women can and have been raising children on their own. However, currently and in the future, the financial and emotional toll will become too much. And the children will suffer.

Funny how the basic tenets of actual survival should also be observed to be able to have a viable dating life." Unless, of course, the truth is really what another content creator on this platform has been shouting from the rooftops and that these XYs are 'dating' as a means of securing these 'basic tenets of actual survival' in the form of women whom they seem to regard as walking 'benefits packages'... Let that sink in. When one side is seeking partnership, and the other side is seeking to use the other to survive, then dating is a dangerous game.
