I always tell people that try to self-rite their rc's, it's a diff killer. Sounded like you had some gears on their way out. Aside from that, that truck looks and acts more like an 8th scale. I'd love to get my hands on one even if just to run a pack through it. It looks like a lot of fun and by the sound of your voice, a worth while investment. Love the content brother 🤘

I LIKE THAT IT DONT DRIVE LIKE AN XMAXX OR STUNT TRUCK.. IT JUST DRIVES 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Be sure to contact Customer Service. They will take care of it for you. With that track in the backyard I would run like 500k instead of the ear plugs. The earplugs don't give much protection to the rest of the drive line as it pretty much locked up. Plus its hard to steer with the front wheels off the ground all the time :)

Exactly now that he has a truck you can drive laps “ gets power to ground “ you can’t tune it like these knuckleheads just flipping all over . 500k I use a lot , 30k rear 60k front thickest I go

I’m starting to like that truck 😂

Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee. Also, strips ring/pinion gears like an Xmaxx. 😏😂 Can forgive the Redcat though because it handles so, so much better! Just to add to this though, Vitavon has one of these so you can bet your ass there will be hefty gears about soon for them. 💪

Dude I swear if this what I think it is, I'm interested in what you'll find. On my Team Corally Punisher, I replaced the diffs, dog bones, cups.. Everytime I would accelerate, I would hear that grind in the beginning. I was frustrated and just threw it on the shelf for a couple of years..lol. I flashed back to one of your older videos, and now I'm thinking maybe the bearings in the motor. I never checked that.

Weight batteries those maxx killer wheels 🛞 over heated it , you guys getting away no oil because it was winter ❄️

Motor could have shifted, causing it to grind like that under power. Other than that, you're likely correct with it being a diff.

Guy if I had that Backyard Track I would never goto work.😂😂 Great vid hope you figure out what broke.✌🏻

Proline MX43s they're not belted they're just a thicker material Just an overall meaty tire and rim

I'm not trying to get more view time (Yes I am) But if you go back a little bit in the video you can specifically hear a very clear sound that will probably let you know what's going on

Sounds like not the diff but the rear pinon gear. The gear that gives the rear diff power.

If you just rewind and listen slightly closer you might hear what I'm getting at 👍💯 It's a fairly specific sound

Any hit, with throttle open as impact was made, YES it could have damaged the diff... most likely the center. Not sure if you locked the center or used heavy oil but I would start in the center and inspect the internal gears!

@@rcguygarage after rewatching that reverse hit, i noticed the change in direction. I would be curious to know if the earplug you put in is still in tact? Seems like the abrupt change of direction with the rear impact may have been the culprit! Good luck with the investigation!

Been loving the vigilante content. Not sure if it's possible but i would love to see you get a zd racing mx-07 and a team corally kagama for comparison. Epic music. I think the kagama might be smaller though. I think the mx-07 is a hidden gem that got skipped over.

I think it drives like an Arrma but sounds like a Traxxas when it bounces and lands. I feel like it combines the best of both my 8s Outcast exb and Xmaxx. Once i swap in a Max 5 and big can motor i think it might be my favorite large scale truck. At the moment it's still my Outcast.

Nice vid please dont take this wrong but when you drive try being smoother on the trottle when you accelerate and brake like you are driving a real car its easier on the diffs and the intire drivetrain 🙂

Yes it has both front and rear drive . . . Go back a little in the video and listen closely to right before it starts grinding I think 45 seconds or so then listen to the grind and picture what gears could make that consistent sound👍💯👊

@@rcguygarage using my couch diagnostic skills from a couch in Canada, I’m saying rear differential , pinion has stripped the crown gear. I’ll warn you, I have been wrong before 😎
