Sorry sir no stock drive for me did a bunch of mods n fixes & had it out & it was amazing. It out crawled all expensive crawlers & went up lines I’ve never completed on its maiden voyage. And by the way thank you for the free lanyard at Proline by the Fire. It’s getting a lot of use. 👍

Good to know maybe on round two of the build we will try it.

Suggestion: run a micro winch in the back to pull down on the rear axle to lower rear cg during descent.

Can't wait to see what upgrades you do to this rig. About killed it in stock form😅

Are those 2.2 tires on 2.2 wheels? They look so beefy but look fantastic.

How hard was it to mount the Rock Pirates hard line bed in? Can you explain it a little more for me if you don’t mind?

we show it at the end of the video. we use the stock chassis brace and mount it to that.

Did the bed from pirate RC just mount right up?

BDS suspension is the best , had a pair for 5yrs never leaked..(pitbull kronik)..

It’s hard to compare the scx pro, and VRD to this. This is a 100 less for a rtr, than those kits. If you have the means I would get the VRD or pro over this.

You said smaller Pitbull shocks, what size did put in ?

We added 80mm shocks.

Quick question. I bought the pitbull shocks for my ascent after watching this video. The standoffs on the stock shocks seem to be needed unless I run spacers on these. Did you swap the ones from the stock shocks onto these? If so, how did you do that?! Probably a total noob question, lol

I do not. The holes are different. You could modify it possibly to fit.

Yeah, they aren't even close to the same size. I'd have to drill holes in the chassis if I wanted to install them

Does any body know if any of the portal knuckles from any redcat fit wendigo/marksman axles? Edit: I can't find anything on it anywhere. I was gonna just order the portals and see if they fit, but I figured I'd ask around first.

The sound was good, both sides, BUT, when you started talking only one side is working. I always use my headphones for KZread. The problem is not my headphones, it is on your end....

Put a different radio on it and the control will be way better.I have the Fusion Se and its still touchy.The reverse is the worst and yours looks like its about the same.

Yeah RTR electronics are junk. Definitely a radio from either Futaba or Sanwa. Way better than anything Spektrum makes.
