Redback Spider Vs Giant Hairy Scary Orb Spider Amazing Sucking Fluids Spider Feeding

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Redback spiders are the ultimate killer spider. They are just like Black Widows but more deadly. Lets put a Garden Orb spider up against a Redback spider and see if the much larger Garden Orb spider can dominate the spider tank. This is the third battle for this Redback who now has a spider egg sac laid. She has to deal with a much larger and more powerful spider who thinks this tank is her new home. The Redback spider needs all it's amazing spider skills to reclaim the tank.
The dead Praying Mantis was a totally different battle that showed everyone that sometimes it's a very cautious waiting game for a spider to take out an opponent. Video posted as educational, documentary, and scientific and forms part of my Redback Spider study series of videos. The Redback Spider never fed from the Praying Mantis. It was a very complex battle links below. Video posted as educational, documentary, and scientific and forms part of my Redback Spider study series of videos.

Orb-weaver spiders or araneids are members of the spider family Araneidae. They are the most common group of builders of spiral wheel-shaped webs often found in gardens, fields and forests. "Orb" was previously used in English to mean "circular", hence the English name of the group. Araneids have eight similar eyes, hairy or spiny legs, and no stridulating organs.The family is cosmopolitan, including many well-known large or brightly colored garden spiders. With 3122 species in 172 genera worldwide, Araneidae is the third-largest family of spiders (behind Salticidae and Linyphiidae). Araneid webs are constructed in a stereotyped fashion. A framework of nonsticky silk is built up before the spider adds a final spiral of silk covered in sticky droplets.Orb-webs are also produced by members of other spider families. The long-jawed orb weavers (Tetragnathidae) were formerly included in the Araneidae; they are closely related, being part of the superfamily Araneoidea. The family Arkyidae has been split off from the Araneidae. The cribellate or hackled orb-weavers (Uloboridae) belong to a different group of spiders. Their webs are strikingly similar, but use a different kind of sticky silk.

    Typically dumb. Like when he said that the orb weaver was "chasing" the red back, as if it was pursuing the red back, when in fact the orb weaver was mearly heading that way in it's frantic attempt at escaping the container. This was no "fight", the hapless orb weaver was so preoccupied with escape that it paid no attention whatsoever to the little red back. Dumb

    It seems that the orb weaver had lost control of its back legs and they just drag behind it. It's not able to get her back to help her climb or even to help defend itself. Therefore it doesn't have a chance to keep the redneck away from her. It's like the legs are paralyzed.

    The timelapse was awesome. I really enjoyed seeing how the Redback gorged itself on the liquified organs of the Orb Spider, through one of its legs. My only issue is with the way in which these two spiders contacted one another. I used to have a Black Widow spider, which is extremely similar to the Redback. These spiders have horrible eye sight and generally never administer a bite until they have thoroughly restricted or restrained their victim in web. Also, I have noticed that Black Widows are way more aggressive when they are protecting young in their web. If they don't have an egg sac in their web, they tend to be skittish and run away, rather than confronting an adversary. I would be interested to see a reversal on this test, where you administer a Redback spider into the domain of the Giant Orb Spider. My guess is that the Orb spider would take out the Redback much more efficiently and you probably won't even have to use timelapse to capture it.

Idk actually know lots about spiders, but i used to catch them in philipines and even hold them, sometimes they bite me but nothing happens to me so i assume orb weaver doesn’t have a poison or maybe it has but just really weak

    @@sidneyvelasco8152 red back spiders are more poisonous, that's a fact. I'm gonna correct some of what i said. If that was in a stick fight, we could've seen more potential from the orb weaver. I mean, the video doesn't showed us a real spider fight. It was more of a one sided fight in favor of the red back. In terms of size and strength, orb weaver is ahead, but ofcourse the red back is the more poisonous, the red back will die first because the orb weaver is more agile and bigger, but the orb weaver will die later because of the venum. It could've been a tie

  • @JRDragonborn
    @JRDragonborn6 жыл бұрын

    The orb weaver was at total disadvantage the moment it was placed on the redback's home territory, if they were put on both unfamiliar grounds the orb weaver would've probably won, also the orb weaver isn't interested on landing a bite on the redback because it seemed that it isn't hungry enough, it just wanted to get out of the enclosure as seen many times on the video, while the redback has lots of eggs that it wanted to protect so it kept coming back to it. That orb weaver is actually a spider commonly used in spider fight gambling so definitely it would win if it was hungry enough and if the redback doesn't have the homecourt advantage.

    nope actually that orb spider is confused, this guy who shoot the video mishandled the spider resulting the spider to run around fearful or the new environment, losing his composure and ability to hunt the spider will immediately think of surviving, as you can see its like biting its leg, its their sign or saying that its readying its self for something, at this moment, its preparing his legs to run and climb as quick as it can. This isnt a fight Its feeding

    Nope you are wrong pal, Red back might have the venom or poison advantage, but when it comes to fighting! red backs are slow! Im guessing you havent seen an Orb weaver spider hunt without their web trap? On this video the orb spider is mishandled and poor poor spider lost its composure, the orb weaver is terrified due to mishandling and as you can see on the video its running around confused exhausting itself wondering why he cant climb the damn glass, maybe because the guy in this video doesnt know that Orb weaver spiders dont have poison, and their bites cant kill humans, but totally deadly for another spider. Mishandling these creatures can cause major changes, Spiders rely on their senses to hunt and kill prey or intruders that disturbs their little resting place, if your thinking that the Orb weavers Web trap is its resting place you are wrong, Orb weavers only weave their sticky web trap at night time and on the center of it is where it sit still waiting for its dinner, because these spiders are nocturnal hunters, before the sun hits them it will break its web clean, leaving the predators who feeds on them no idea that they where there, most of the Orb weavers I caught hide or rest on a dead leaf not too far from the web trap they build, you can find one by tracking them with their web string or silk, you can easly spot a web string or silk with the light of sun these silks are reflective , but tracing em is little bit tricky, because they are not the only insects who can make silk, Yup an Orb weaver spiders web string or silk is different from other spiders, Orb weaver's silk or web string is one of the strongest spider silk i know, there is season of these species where they tend to make weak silk, mostly here in my country it happens on wet season, where they struggle to build traps and food is scarce due to the rain, Most of the time that I caught female Orb weavers spider I noticed that a female Orb weaver silk is twice or a little bit stronger than males silk, but male orb weaver tend to build much wider web trap than females, males are smaller than females, but females bite is deadlier and deals much serious damage than males, You can identify an Orb weaver spiders gender easily, All you need to do is look at its abdomen or its body, females tend to have round shape body, and males have slighly triangular shape or diamond shape body, males head size and fangs size is bigger than females, this creature an Orb weaver have lightning fast speed, striking and delivering its ferocious bite to its victim. I have almost 100 pieces of Orb weavers back then, I did study its behaviour since my elementary days, there is a wide variety of Orb weaver spider in my country, and we name em depending on the pattern they have on their bodies, This Orb weaver we are watching, we call this one The tiger, because of its badass color and fighting style, this type usually lunges to its target most of its bite land on the head, earning its reputation as one of the best Orb weaver breed that most of spider fight gamblers bet on.
