When red wolf Jack cleanthe snow off Charlotte's fur, his grooming efforts are gestures of intimacy that reaffirm their unique emotional bond.
Red wolves Jack and Charlotte represent the Wolf Conservation Center’s active participation in the active effort to save the world’s most endangered wolf from extinction.
The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), is a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY. The WCC is one of a network of facilities participating in the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan - a national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of red wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.

I don't mean to turn into this guy but I've seen too many dumb comments like this one, how can we learn from an animal that's made no progress through out history while humans on the other side have expanded out and developed smart technology, vaccines you name it. How about y'all pay attention for once and see that there are still people who value things like that rather than paint everyone in the same color? When I was little I had a book about wolves that led me to write out a little paper petition to save red wolves. It wasn't official because I was just a kid of course, but I'm happy to see they've lasted until I'm grown, maybe there's a chance! Back then there were about 300 red wolves left in the wild
Red wolves are very rare and very much endangered ,,
so beautiful they are unique animals who have been misunderstood for so long, all i can say is this is so beautiful
