Honestly Red Velvet typically release about 2-3 albums per year. At least they have been since like 2017. They took a break in 2020 and half of 2021 to let Wendy recover from her injury. This year was the first year since 2019 that we have gotten so many Red Velvet albums in a while so it was heaven. I'm glad you enjoyed it! And take your time! we are so appreciative of your time and interest in our girls!

SM buys hundreds of songs from producers around the world. I'm glad they do that and are not selfish to the fans of their groups unlike other companies. Like first time in my life I hear a "single album" with only 1 or 2 song????? capitalism on the next level.

Honestly, one of my favorite things that happen everytime the cake girls make a comeback is luvies (and the not-really fans who still listen to the whole album) giving their opinions on which b-side is title-track worthy. Because for me, it shows how great their b-sides are every comeback that even luvies have varying opinions on what track should be the title one because they're all too good

Celebrate is so underrated! It's so simple, nostalgic and emotional. The final chorus being harmonies by all the members is heavenly. I think you'd like all of their music to be honest, take your time and enjoy Red Velvet. And remember, they are called Red Velvet for a reason... Red&Velvet 💝

Red Velvet doesn’t need anyones permission to slap people with their vocals😌 Also, we love seeing the wife, Joy get her vocal appreciation. It’s crazy because she’s actually the group’s LEAD RAPPER!!! Her voice is like sweet honey and she literally sings like she’s the lead vocalist!!

Not to be so over dramatic but whenever I watch reactors for Red Velvet, I am always waiting for them to say something about Yeri's voice, her tone, her vocals, everything. And I'm just so thankful you've commented about her voice. Most people always overlook her vocals and forget how powerful and much needed her vocals when it comes to Red Velvet's harmonization. Even when she's singing her solo parts, her voice is very unique and sweet, and also powerful if needed. I also agree that her voice stands out, and for me, in Red Velvet's harmonization, Yeri's vocals always stand out because she really sounds so good!! I really love her voice and I hope people will see and appreciate her more 🥹🫶

Thank you for your newfound love to the girls, Caitlin. They have a lot of stuff over the years and my advice is to not rush yourself in listening to their songs. It's best if you savor it and do it at your time and pace. Don't always get caught up with the fan comments. We love you genuinely enjoying and listening to their songs, personally the best way to listen and discover kpop songs.

completely agree!! they have such a large discography, and all songs are so special!! it took me a long time to get to all of it, but i think thats the best way to do it:)

its a little older now but highly HIGHLY recommend checking out Perfect Velvet if you want to listen to a full album, it really is Red Velvet perfection imo, “I Just” and “Kingdom Come” might have actually changed my life

Since you love EXO, I just wanna say that Red Velvet is kinda like their sibling group. Like EXO, you'll find great vocals from them, strong harmonies, high quality production, lots of adlibs, high notes & a solid discography including both title tracks & bsides. RV has nicknames of bsides queens, harmonization queens, summer queens, concept queens, etc. They're very versatile musically but like EXO, their main sound would dabble in r&b, jazz, dance, pop & ballads. I know you & most people don't like ballads as much but Red Velvet & EXO are as known for their ballads as much as for their upbeat title tracks because they're able to give that emotional vocal delivery. RV is one of the most musically interesting groups of kpop. Since you plan on doing their guides, I think their personalities are very interesting & likable, though most of them are introverts. Their group dynamic is also very strong & funny. Now when you check out their solo & subunits music, knowing your taste, I think you'll like 'like water' album the most cause it's very emotional, storytelling type & personal to Wendy. For me, I absolutely love all their solo & subunit albums, 'Hello' & '28 reasons' albums are perfect to represent Joy & Seulgi's styles as debutant soloists. 'Monster' album of Irene&Seulgi is a masterpiece of an album in kpop, including their choreos & performances. I'll be waiting for more RV reactions from you. Take your time and take care. 🥰

You're always in a ride with Red Velvet I can say with no exaggeration they have one of the best discographies when it comes to girl groups (others being Twice, IZ*ONE, Loona etc, but these are my favorites) You can get your expectations up when reacting to them again They always deliver

Red Velvet's b-sides are fantastic, often much better than their singles imo, as I like their r&b much more than their MV hits. Glad you finally got the time to check them out. May I recommend 'The Perfect Red Velvet' album, and for a mini album I'd have to say 'RBB' is easily my number one, given that it has my favorite r&b tracks by them.

They especially shine when they sing R&B, because they are the queens of R&V (Rhythm & Vibe), and this is the reason of us simply calling them 'RV'. Red Velvet is such a perfect name for them 😘

You should do a B-side reaction like Differently Alike where they listen to two or three recommended b-sides in each album for a week so it doesn't get overwhelming.

Honestly RBB, Queendom, Feel my Rhythm are mini albums that are great starting points for the mastery of RV b-sides. They make bops after more bops. Plus Kingdom Come is hands down my favorite b-side by them!

Yeri is the only one who has not gotten solo yet/or is in a unit. but she made her acting debut in a reallly good web drama called blue birthday with Pentagons Hongseok!

I love love love the fact that you liked Yeri's voice. Unfortunately enough the sweet quality to her voice is what many don't like but that's the exact thing that made me love Yeri. About Irene, yes she has a very low natural tone and mature voice (she's the oldest member and her voice shows it I feel). I think her voice is not fully utilised but she absolutely killed it in the album Monster (that's her and Seulgi's subunit album. Highly recommend checking it out). The three in the middle, oof. They give me eargasm and that's all I'll say. Thanks again for giving them a listen. RV are bside queens so they won't disappoint you :)
