This will probably be my last SM theory video for a while. I don't think I'll have the time to make theory videos since my new semester will be beginning soon; these are often the most time-consuming scripts I write and generally take a while to edit. That being said, I will try to keep you guys updated on my theories for groups I'm not as invested in through my community tab. I do intend to continue to make theory videos for Red Velvet and EXO, as they are my ults, but I doubt they'll release anything as a group for a while anyways.

Here’s what I think is going on: EXO created two universes. The one that we’re seeing more so as of recent is Kwangya. The one that we’ve been seeing prior to NCT, Aespa, and SuperM is Kosmo. Red Velvet is the Red Force. They were created from the Red Light by F(x). They want the heart of the Tree of Life to restore Reve to what she once was. In order to protect the tree, EXO divided it amongst the two separate worlds (thus making them natural enemies of Red Velvet). What animals are known for being enemies? Cats and dogs. Therefore, I think that the cat is actually more of Red Velvet’s spirit animal whereas EXO’s is a dog (as we’ve seen them represented by a wolf in songs like “Wolf” and “Growl”). Red Velvet is initially unable to fully stop EXO. They try killing them (as we see them prepping in “Peekaboo” and attempting in “Bad Boy” and “RBB”), but are unsuccessful. So, they take the mirror portals that we see in the “Happiness” music video to travel to Kwangya where they meet the Black Mamba. This is a villainous organization run by Taemin. Taemin forms and alliance with the girls and advises them to be smarter about how they go about doing this. If they can’t take out EXO, let them take out themselves? We see EXO members being led on and captured then tested in a number of videos (with “Lucky One” being the most prominent) and then let go. Red Velvet was experimenting on them to obtain their powers. So, they create RF-05 to trick EXO into stocking their abilities and copying them to be used later in the “Power” music video. Then, Red Velvet gets to work. They try cloning themselves in “Dumb Dumb” and test the clones in “Red Flavor”. Once they’ve perfected the formula, they create X-EXO. These clones go after EXO and win in “Obsession”. They then pretend to be the real EXO and commit heinous acts in “Lotto”. They match up with themes and visuals in Taemin’s videos for “Idea” and “Criminal”. EXO flees for Kwangya in “Don’t Fight The Feeling”. Knowing that they need help protecting the second half of the Tree Of Life, they recruit other beings with superpowers. This is when they meet NCT and... Taemin? The mastermind here wants to get in, earn their trust and strike when they least expect him to. So, Kai and Baekhyun go off to explore the Kwangya. Not before Taemin tells Red Velvet about their locations. As we see in “Naughty”, Irene and Seulgi go off to Kwangya to take care of Kai where they don’t hold back and show him that they’re a “Monster”. Kai escapes, but Baekhyun isn’t so lucky. In “Bambi”, he sings about feeling trapped in a dream. Where have we seen mentions of people being put to sleep before? Zimzalabim zim-zimzalabim zim-zimzalabim zim-zim. Joy goes after Baekhyun and puts him to sleep. Now, all that’s left is to defeat NCT and Taemin wins! Or so he thinks... A new threat has emerged to his plan, Aespa. Them and their AE counterparts want to protect Kwangya and defeat the villain Black Mamba. With the help of Naevis, they’re training to become strong. However, I think Naevis is actually one of the members of Black Mamba (maybe Seulgi) and they’re slowly luring Karina to the dark side. Sound too much like Star Wars? Well hey, EXO did a collaboration with them called “Lightsaber” after all lol But anyways, Aespa is in trouble if Taemin is able to convince their leader to join him as the third leader of Black Mamba (with Irene being the other as she’s been seeing as a sort of ringleader of Red Velvet in “Rookie” and “Psycho”). But, who’s going to protect her? BoA. Butterflies have made a number of appearances in SM music videos. And who’s representative sign is a butterfly? Ning Ning! We saw BoA make a cameo on the “Black Mamba” video while a butterfly approached her. I think this is a sign to show that the butterflies are connected to her and she uses them to communicate with the other SM artists. The most notable in my opinion is how there’s a butterfly in “I” by Taeyeon (anything released after EXO’s “Mama” is fair game in my book lol) and that BoA will call upon the Girls’ Generation members to give Ning Ning the strength to save Karina from Black Mamba. Then Aespa, NCT, the rest of SuperM and EXO, Girls’ Generation, and maaaybe Super Junior (haven’t quite figured out how they fit in yet lol) will combine forces like in the “End Game” movie from Marvel, to take on Black Mamba and the Red Force, thus bringing peace to both of the universes! And once that happens, Kosmo and Kwangya can become one universe again! 💕 Anyways, I’m trying to work on a theory that incorporates all SM music videos released after EXO’s “‘Mama”. So, this is bound to change. I’ve only gotten through most of Red Velvet’s and half of EXO’s. Haven’t even started on NCT, Aespa, Shinee, SuperM, etc. and don’t get me started on promotional materials outside of the music videos that could also hold a lot of information. So yeah, it’s a work in progress and my thoughts are likely to change as I dive into more videographies lol

I've been witnessing the universe unfold since I started stanning EXO early in 2014, and as new groups emerged and had their storylines intertwined with theirs, it's become one of my hobbies (? lol) to thoroughly follow this SMCU. Yeri Potter's channel is the most on point on all of that! I feel like there are a few elements that you're missing, but like you say there's so so so much material left to study first, but by the look of what you've understood so far, it is a very solid try at breaking down the SMCU. I'm actually very excited to see what else you'll be able to highlight. I'm at a dead end myself haha so I'm happy to read your take on it

Wow this is an incredible storyline, I'd love to hear your full thoughts after going through all the videos! It would be amazing if all of SM's artists could unite for some blockbuster style video

This is so detailed, and I think a lot of it is accurate! I would love to see you do a video on this However, you said that anything after Mama is fair game, but honestly I think that SM are going to try to retcon everything that Boa, Super Junior, Shinee and SNSD released pre-Mama into the storyline as well (since the SM Remastering Project exists, and that SM has stated that all these artists (note: not FX) are in the SMCU. I know it would be a LOT of work to try and incorporate all of that into your theory too, but I would recommend it since there are probably clues there too (not deliberate ones obviously but you get the idea)

@@OCTOPOPS The only reason why I’m hesitant to include them is just because we don’t know how far in advance Lee Soo Man had planned the SM universe. Maybe nothing prior to EXO is canonically incorporated? Maybe everything since H.O.T. is (which could be a problem is there are music videos missing due to SM deleting and reuploading a bunch in 2011 I believe). So, my plan is to do everything post-Mama. And once that’s done, I’m going to try and see if I can find connections from prior music videos. I do think there is a chance though because “Into The New World” by Girls’ Generation could very possibly be about the actual creation of the original SM Universe before EXO split it in two. And then, there’s the fact that Lee Soo Man was a major contributor to the Loona-verse which means... Do I have to figure out how Loona fits into all of this too? 😂😭

Ok, I just thought about what the chronological order of the Red Velvet music videos is within the SM Universe: 1. Hello - Joy (a good introductory video) 2. Psycho/Russian Roulette (Joy starts recruiting the other members of the group starting with Yeri and Seulgi. But the members start fighting for control over the group halfway through and it creates a toxic relationships. But by the end, they think they’re okay when Irene is really in charge). 3. Like Water (There are train tracks in the music video which reminds me of the train in Psycho. After the girls are done hurting each other and come to accept themselves, Wendy uses her powers to heal them.) 4. Happiness (I originally thought that this was the beginning of their journey because Yeri was barely present in the music video, but it wanted to highlight the members with more crucial roles in the SM universe as they developed their powers first). 5. Queendom (It’s the story of how Yeri begins her training as a witch) 6. Umpah Umpah (The group starts to hunt other people instead of themselves, this mainly involves drowning them) 7. Peek-A-Boo (They realize that boys seem to be the most fun to hunt. Meanwhile, they try to figure out what food gives them the most nourishment) 8. Ice Cream Cake (They figure out that it’s ice cream cake. They provoke the boys to “come and chase me” alluding to the cat and mouse tactics they started in Russian Roulette with each other) 9. Red Flavor (They realize that it’s not the boys who provide the nutrients, it’s their blood. It rejuvenates them and increases their powers) 10. Bad Boy (They found a boy that gives off a lot more nourishment. This reminds me of the Chimera Ant arc from the Hunter X Hunter series if any of y’all are familiar with that). 11. RBB/Rookie (Similar to in Ice Cream Cake, they taunt the really bad boy into chasing them. But notice how they hunt after him and their tone is more impressed that he’s a really bad boy than scared? They’re not afraid of him and he’s the one in danger. I think this bad boy is Baekhyun.) 12. #CookieJar (They add his blood to their treats. But what’s this? They spoil? Red Velvet realizes that they’re missing an ingredient only found in the Tree of Life. Meanwhile, EXO is now aware of their presence and performs the ritual in Mama to separate the tree amongst two separate universes). 13. Sappy (Spaces starts becoming really distorted. But Red Velvet are witches. They tease EXO for thinking that this trick will work on them). 14. Peek A Boo; again... lol (Space is distorted and Red Velvet starts forming a plan to destroy EXO) 15. Rookie (As Yeri Potter has shown in previous theories, it’s highly likely that the flower man represents EXO. They’re hunting Red Velvet actively now to save the universes. However, Red Velvet is letting them chase them so that they can control the members, as the flower man is shown being controlled by Irene in the end.) 16. Dumb Dumb (Red Velvet is in the universe of Kosmo. After multiple attempts to destroy EXO, they’re at a loss. So, they form an alliance with the villainous organization of Kwangya “What’s their name? Black Mamba!” Taemin is the leader of this organization and has secretly infiltrated EXO’s ranks. He describes a plan that Red Velvet shouldn’t be trying to destroy EXO. They should destroy themselves. So, they go to work trying to clone the members). 17. Power Up (Red Velvet has finally defeated EXO using X-EXO in Obsession. Victory is theirs! But, they promised Taemin that they would destroy EXO while he works on destroying new threats to the Black Mamba, NCT and Aespa. So, with their newly improved powers, they set off.) 18. Naughty (We saw portals in the Happiness music video and that’s how I think they travel between dimensions/universes. Irene and Seulgi head off as a subunit. Their target? EXO’s last member with a power that could prove to be a problem; Kai. Kris’ power of flight and Luhan’s power of telekinesis are no longer a problem. And Lay isn’t always with the group. So, he can’t always use his healing powers on them. Kai’s teleportation is the most tricky and therefore, the most precise and coordinated team need to handle him). 19. Monster (Self explanatory. Red Velvet’s new powers include the ability to transform and become more monstrous. Irene, the most power hungry of the group, absorbs the most power and is able to transform now. Seulgi prefers the old fashion methods and uses a gun. Kai manages to escape, but barely.) 20. Zimzalabim (While Irene and Seulgi go after Kai, Joy is also tasked with taking out a member of EXO. Baekhyun. Because his powers are those of light manipulation, physical attacks won’t work on him. Therefore, someone with strong magical abilities will need to take care of him. This is when we start seeing Red Velvet’s mastery of dark magic. As stated in “Bambi”, Baekhyun feels like he’s fallen into a dream. And what song involves putting people to sleep? “Zimzalabim zim-zimzalabim, zim-zimzalabim, zim zim”. But Wendy isn’t the only one with water healing powers. Who’s the member missing from most of the “Power” music video? Baekhyun. And what’s he doing at the end? Swimming in water where it seems to be enveloping him. Suho saved him just in time. Note: I have no idea what to do with the following music videos: -Be Natural -Automatic -One Of These Nights -Would U -Rebirth -I Just Also, this totally contradicts my other theory where the Power music video comes before Dumb Dumb. So, take everything with an ocean of salt lol Just goes to show how much of a puzzle this universe is. And just when you think it’s solved, you realize that you put one of the pieces in the wrong place lol

here is my theory: In monster Irene and Seulgi have that villain image but they are trying to take control over each other, however, in naughty we can see them getting along and almost mirroring each other. At the end of Naughty, we can see them taking different paths but in ep2 and 3 the mirror imagery is still there showing that they could have become 1 entity just like Navis who is helping Aespa in Next Level but also hacking the holograms in ep1. I think queendom is showing us with the teasers how they are "gaslighting" Wendy and Joy by showing them their "true self" and finally recruiting Yeri in the MV.

Ooo that's really interesting! I feel like Psycho also had some of those sinister undertones with the members attempting to escape, I'm curious to see how it all connects!

red velvet always had been magic and supernatural concepts, also they never did technology related concepts, but, as this sm universe is marvel-inspired, the biggest events on marvel movies are when the different types of heroes meet, so I expect and hope for a Aespa & red velvet collab, this red velvet comeback recapped their previous concept while started fresh, like they debuted again, using references from the past, I think that's a building for later they be related to Kwangya.

Irene is not only a Cat and Rabbit. She's also “Reve” which was revealed at RedMare Concert. Idk if she was the “flower monster” from Rookie but she controls the flower monster as well.

On Rookie there's also an scene where Irene is shown bigger than the stage where they dance and holding that thing that has strings to control a puppet, the scene shows like she was caught by someone, I think Irene will be some kind of supernatural entity that recruited the other members and gave magical powers to them, but she's always in control of everything, and there's hints of it here and there through the music videos, like on zimzalabim, when all of them are using glasses like they where hipnotzed, she's not wearing glasses and stares at the camera.

Seeing the first teaser for Feel My Rhythm just further supports this imo

The SMCU trailer describes Red Velvet as "transcendental beings" which makes me think that actually they could be something like the Eternals, magical beings that have existed for a long time, but unlike them, instead of protecting they decided to destroy worlds for fun and replace them with exact copies (as it happens in EXO's universe) Btw great video!!! 💕

I saw some theories in Facebook/Twitter saying that F(x) was like the sacrificial group or sum like they did warned the groups after them to not covet things from kwangya like that. F(x) had a song called Nu Abo that tells/warns something about how dangerous it is. And some lyrics of it could be connected to Aespa's Next level(Nuevo). And f(x)'s songs like red light and 4 walls definitely has something about it. Like after they know something they lost connection to each other in 4walls and it is connected to SYNK which is the platform to connect. Sorry for my English. And the connections in my comment to each other.

I think that all of them are cats, bc is queendom they are witches, and witches usually transform into animals or cats.

Guys do you remember SMTOWN vcr 2019 that NCT dream driving train into SM universe? And you notice that when they show Baekhyun the background was blue sky and in DFTF you can see blue sky in background too and for RV planet you can see playgrounds in background and it look all most the same as Queendom. And I remembered that Yeri Potter used to say that SNSD planet is pink and you see in Weekend’s MV? And all most all of SM artists are driving something in the sky like car motorcycle spaceship... where are they going? Are they going to Kosmo? because Ten and Yangyang are going to kosmo. Do they found the way to kosmo? Because Kosmo is beyond Kwangya. I’m sorry maybe I’m overthinking and I’m sorry for my English guy I’m not that good

I haven't checked out NCT's concert vcrs but I definitely should! This is a very interesting theory :)

I have a feeling like you with RV being at the top, the SMCU connection might be more subtle. You certainly got many things. Thanks for adding the wonderland material as I was going to look that up as I am not overly familiar with Alice in Wonderland. 'Wonderland' is in the Queendom lyrics as well. Many people speculated in Peekaboo that they were witches. That is now confirmed. I think its pretty obvious that Irene is the white cat. I do wonder about the shadow of the cat in Seulgi's installment of Mystic Store. Is she Irene morphed in the vision or is Seulgi a Dark or shadow cat? This could have been mirrored in Naughty with Irene white and Seulgi black. Cats are known as familiars for witches. In fact it was believed they could transform into animals in the folklore. Maybe the cat is symbolic of that. In the final teaser for Mystic Store when they sat around the table a light was added so that Seulgi would cast a shadow on the table. I thought this might be a extension of Seulgi's vision of the shadow cat. Near the end of the Queendom video they sit at a table and each of them have a Tarot card, from the Rider Waite tarot deck, in front of them. The first four are from the Major Arcana. The cards are: Irene: Hermit; Seulgi: Strength; Joy: Temperance; Yeri: The World. Now Wendy's card has a lot of glare and you can not really make much out of it. From zooming in and manipulating a screen capture I think it might be the Ace of Cups. The picture on the Ace of Cups card has a cup with a W on it that has water coming out of it like a fountain. W for Wendy? SM Water!!!? Now Zimzalabim is known to be a magical phrase. Could Ladida-do Ba-badida be another magical phrase? Heck could La la la la be one as wells since they have used that in multiple songs? Lots of fun things to think about. In the end they might just be there to seem cool. We shall see more hopefully. I didn't consider Naughty when making this, that's a great point! I definitely feel like Irene is more of a villain figure but I'm not sure whether the other members are acting out of their own accord or they're being manipulated haha

red velvet will probably continue with their own witch storyline, i think the ones who created kwangya are probably seulrene and that shows in the end of the naughty mv, seulgi and irene walk up in different ways and seulgi said it's for a reason, also in kai's mmmh mv it shows some of the exact universe which seulrene created, so maybe seulrene will have smth to do with kwangya, and maybe seulgi is the black mamba since she said that before

I love this SMU stuff. So fascinating to hear everyones theories on how everything is connected. I wonder if SM would ever put out an official video or even a themed concert linking the groups themselves?! I was kinda hoping for something like that when they did the SMTOWN online concert early this year. They went as far as displaying the different SM groups almost as "kingdoms" giving each their own flag. That's it though.

This theory makes so much sense. Sm is so smart. And also you are. You connected and find out easily on what's going on Sm's mind! But is it just me that almost all of the recent sm comeback's coloring is similar? Like next level, weekend and second?

like mcu, each figures has a different story of their own (like spiderman has a villain of his own, etc.). in smcu, we can tell that groups also has a story of their own, which is really evident to the groups exo, rv, nct and aespa. i feel like the whole purpose of smcu isn't just about kwangya, it's also about telling and expanding the individual stories of each characters/groups in sm. kwangya is like more of a hint of a possible collaborations between groups, story-wise and musically-wise. we can also now see sm introducing and putting more of their artists in smcu, such as kangta. and in the smcu origin video, it was mentioned that - birth of universe (boa's part/scene, possible hinting she's the creator of the universe in the story) - speed of life and sound (referring to tvxq, since they're also a legendary god figures in smcu) - goddess of sound (snsd being hinted as goddess like figures as well, they also evidently has theor own pink world) - five lights (shinee as a group may be a guide to others) - a world where travel to outer space with no passport or possessions (may be referring to the whole sm universe, and they can travel to outer space, possible it being kosmos, with the help of super junior's force, hinting they're also god figures) - supernatural powers (referring to exo's own storyline: members as aliens, their individual powers, and tree of life) - transcendental beings that are in communion with the gods (referring to red velvet as they are now confirmed witches, with their own storyline telling about the tales of how irene recruited each members to be a member of a cult, and how she may have shaped or is manipulating them into doing whatever she wants, like how the leader of a cult gets to make their members to do things for them) - also if f(x) is still active, they definitely have something to do with dimensions. the whole smcu the origin reveals the lineup of the artist and their roles in the sm universe, not just in kwangya. with certain groups' certain storyline of course is yet to be revealed. imo, the video reminds me of a mythology, boa as gaia. and the groups are like the olympians, as we saw in an sm concert vcr where each groups has their own world, like the figures in roman myth where the gods and goddesses are named after planets (mars, venus, etc.) it was also narrated that if we doubt the sm universe, the place that we will experience from now on might present an answer (possible referring to the roles of nct, superm, aespa as they are now the front of this sm era). nct through new culture technology, and their storylines that always involves reality, dreams and sub consciousness, superm through the collaboration of different figures in each storyline (like avengers), and aespa through metaverse, virtual realities, and ai. as I've mentioned before, kwangya is more of a hint of collaborations between each figures. why would they collab with each other if they already have a storyline of their own? well it was also mentioned in smcu the origin that it is now time to recall the history that have taken place in sm universe. a space in sm universe, specifically may have been referring to kwangya, is built on data and destiny, it maybe is the place where we can get to learn the mentioned history, through the help of nct, superm, aespa, and possibly the new groups to be made. smcu is actually very deep, there are a lot of stories, such as tales of each groups' storylines, that are yet to be unfolded. marketing wise, it's a perfect opportunity to produce things like book series and standalones. but since sm is an entertainment company, they'll use songs, and albums to tell the stories, and also the smcu episodes (of they can keep up with it). i am also hoping that we'll see the continuation of sm_nct, and nctmentary to see more of nct's matrix-like storyline, contents for; exo's exoverse, tree of life, and rv's classic-like tales such as alice in wonderland, wizard of oz, and tom and jerry (you know, classic mouse and cat chase, as someone from rv cult may be start to rebel yet irene always managed to manipulate them into being with her instead)

When you mention f(x) 🤩 but forgot to mention 5HINee 😣. The SMCU is very interesting, can't wait for more content from that 🙏

I'm not really sure which universe SHINee as a group fits into the story yet, which is why I didn't mention them! I definitely think Taemin will have a big role in the universe with aespa/nct based on his solo/SuperM projects, but from their group releases it's still kinda hard to tell. I'm curious (or should I say, ~oh, I'm curious yeahhh~) to see if any of their solos tie into the SMCU as well

i think you missed the part where Joy said "Oh hey! in the same dream, It kept calling us, Wonderland beyond distant memories" (you can check the subtitles), i think they have a crucial part in SMCU, or maybe the villain of the story

I think your theory about it landing on the Gemini zodiac is more reasonable but maybe it could be referring to yeri and Irene as they were portraying twins in RBB I dunno I kinda doubt it tho but maybe

hi! i really love your videos, but i also have some similarities and theories that i want to share.. so the place in red velvet mood sampler, is the exact same place with shinee mood sampler "fake reality". and in shinee mood sampler, there are ufos that are similar with red velvet "rookie" ufo. maybe queendom is a fake relaity? i dont really understand the relation actually. and for the cat, i do think that there are 2 cats (as in cookie jar mv, the jar has 2 cats on the top of it). my opinion, 1 is the cat from f(x) red light with yellow and blue eyes, and the other 1 is from ice cream cake with blue and yellow eyes. i think the cat in f(x) red light is irene, because in queendom mv we could see that irene has yellow and blue eyes, different eyes from ice cream cake cat's. and for the other cat with blue and yellow eyes, i think it's seulgi.. because in russian roulette, there is a scene where 4 members push a cupboard, so it makes domino effect, and the cupboard hit seulgi. then there is a similar scene where jerry (mouse) push the cupboard too and it hits tom (cat). i think this scene symbolize that seulgi is a cat? and in rookie mv, seulgi wear a shirt, and there is a picture of a cat with blue and yellow eyes on it. the exact same cat with the one in ice cream cake. also in really bad boy, there is a scene where irene makes a wolf gesture with her hands to scare seulgi, and scared seulgi sit under a picture of a cat. and for the one in joy teaser, i think the joy in the frame is seulgi, because the "joy" in the frame has the blue and yellow eyes. so seulgi disguised as joy, and thats why in the teaser, the other joy stand next to the frame, and she looks confused because there is another joy in the frame. also in queendom mv, when joy holds an umbrella, she has a pretty suspicious face, then she spins around with the umbrella covering the camera, then suddenly joy turned into seulgi. i have a strong feeling that seulgi really disguised as joy.. again this is just my theories 😩😩

idk but to me, those look like two deers (wendy's old rep. animal) on top of the cookie jar

How about the skeletons in the Queendom MV?

I love your videos and very good luck with your upcoming semester! I think (even from what you went over) there is more evidence to point to the "Cat" really being a part of Joy, Seulgi, and Irene. I think the three of them share some magical attribute or element that has this mystical shapeshifting power. Wendy and Yeri do not, they are instead influenced by the cat, but are not necessarily that themselves. An interesting aspect of the video is that in Queendom, following US and UK postal system models WENDY would be the one in charge a "Postmistress" or "Postmaster" is in charge of the post office and postal system. This may be that those who made the video did not know that "Postmistress" would actually be the top directorial position and it might just be a slight mistake since Irene is the leader. Just something to think about though. And THANK YOU the Wonderland vibe is EVERYWHERE. Edit: Or the Cat is RV's joint Familiar and transforms into each of them to show them their duality.

Thank you :) I guess it's still not very clear who exactly is the cat but I'm hoping they'll get another comeback to clarify it at some point!

I think Queendom is the beginning of Red Velvet's storyline... and so far, Feel My Rhythm is the furthest we've gotten in the story (either that or Peak-a-boo)

They actually ate the man who was showed in the beginning and while they were in garden (?) Drinking tea there's skeleton between the bushes and I think Irene lured him into the sewer with a airpod (lmfao that's just stupid)

I think that gemini symbol also symbolizes how in individual teaser they see an other version of themselves

k wait lemme add on more LMFAO 😭 several times in the mv joy has a really smug or mischievous look? it also looks like she was the one to open up the portal that leads the girls to basically the rest of the MV, then later on we see the consequences of her own actions getting to her a little? like she starts getting chased around etc etc we also see wendy like fling off clothes from herself? that might be powers but she has less of a presence in this mv. we also see yeri make duplicates of herself several times throughout the mv and also look at the members through that one huge screen which might be her discovering him powers? because it like seems like she’s playing around with it and testing it in a way , then as for seulgi she throughout the mv seems like she’s exploring the entire set, so she seems like an outsider in a way?? anyways i don’t think it was joy who opened the portal, rather irene influencing her bc again, we see her pulling all the strings at the end

I hope Aseul will continue being a subunit, the mvs connected to the narrative directly RV mvs are more subtle, reveluvs and sm stans have to think and create possible scenarios what they are on the plot beyond being witches/red force of exo so far RV, SNSD(hiatus😭) and Shinee will stay more far away while Kai-Taemin-Nct-Aespa-Exo(?)-Future debuts are active characters in the storyline. Idk if Superm will keep going.

when i saw irene in queendom video withe the black drees ans thos lenses i inmediately thoungt she also was the cat at the begginning of fx's red light.

Just an observation.I wanted to point out is a skeleton in the ‘Queendom’ MV. You can see the Skelton at 1:59 behind Irene and then later on see Seulgi digging at the Skelton 2:07. I thought this was very interesting. Any thoughts?

also could the storm during the tea party be a reference to umpah umpah?

i just wanna know... how are they in the sky once they enter the sewer? like did they just broomstick out of there? is it an illusion irene set up? why is it a postal service? what are they delivering? like how are these locations connected? are they shipping body parts on the black market?

I sometimes have a wild imagination thinking that irene is one of the goddess that run away to earth, in a process she accidentally create a dark side of herself which is blackmamba and create red force to create chaos in the universe, probably having fun.. She gathered the earth elements which is water (wendy), soil or maybe flora (joy), seulgi is actually another form of her and she created yeri on purpose (i still don't know what yeri really are), but somehow i think that irene and wendy look like they're against each other in most MVs is because Irene is the cat but wendy is a mouse (from Russian roulette mv and queendom stage where they come out from a giant book together) and reason why sometimes there's 2 joy is because irene love to play with her, irene will imitate her and confused her.. so in the other words, Irene's role kinda similar to Loki from Asgard.. She could play people and turn into them or even control them

So, this is just my theory about the SM Universe but I theorized that the Black Soshi from the story version of SNSD's Run Devil Run music video might be connected to the Black Mamba. My guess is that the Black Soshi were SNSD's former online personas, but the Black Mamba decided to corrupt them and sent them to the real world to mess with the real SNSD by trashing their house, as seen in the MV.

SM said that FX isn't involved in the SMCU, so I feel like the similarities between the Queendom cat and the Red Light cat are purely a nod and not related to the story

I REALLY REALLY think that Aseul created Kwangya i mean in the beginning of Naughty they come from two different worlds and then they hit and look at each other. At the end they walk together and as they walk a new worl is created, and its really similar to kwangya and then they do the mirror thingy and go on different paths. I mean- im sure they didnt created Kosmo lol so it has to be Kwangya. And im still sure that Seulgi is the black mamba or posessed by the black mamba. But i cant figure out whats Taemin role, like he and Seul have the same crown (ngda and fmr) are they "coworkers" or did he just pass the crown, role, responsability to Seulgi ?? I'll admit, upon first listen I was a bit disappointed. This is probably their safest release outside of Umpah Umpah, and I felt like I could see multiple other groups performing it (maybe it's also the MV aesthetic but it gives me similar vibes to WJSN's La La Love and Oh My Girl's Remember Me). That being said, it has grown on me, it's a cute song, plus Wendy's incredible vocals are always a plus. It's one of their weaker title tracks, but it works in the context of the album (though most of the b-sides are better imo). What are your thoughts on the song?

@@YeriPotter i have similar opinion on the tittle, i was underwhelmed and, after the first listen, described it as "boring commercial music". i still kind of stand by that, although it's a nice listen. i feel the same about the whole ep, but i have to admit i am not a huge fan of red velvet's b-sides. they all sound too similar for me, and i often have troubles telling albums apart, since i can't find a distinctive sounds to them. i give them a pass but i was really hoping they'll come through and save this bland year.
