S maxwell, yes they are always close. Today show awhile back with Grey they are standing with Sam and Erica, Jamie and Dakota and 2 announcers. Everyone is at least a foot to 2 feet apart EXCEPT Jamie who is so close to Dakota that when he bends over laughing he is all into her. It's the sweetest thing ever.
