You know what I noticed is that when they change the world blocks they couldn't change the obsidian. Maybe if you trap them in a obsidian chamber they will be trapped.

Cloud Skii you can still hit them but it might have something to do with the difficulty they are on I'm not sure if this works for all of them but I know it works for green Steve when you change the difficulty to peaceful green Steve is friendly but I'm not sure if it works for red Steve and blue Steve
