You can actually see the outline of the ribbons at 1:18. They are dyed to match her tights/legs rather than her shoes.

That grotesque leg .....oh godddd And honestly I fall in love with her carecter after he beat the shit out of those bastards!

Knowing nothing about this movie except the ending and the broken leg about 30 seconds in I realized. Oh so this is the prologue where she breaks her leg also I thought it would have been more of a flying falling kind of motion at most she would have broken an ankle not a shin if someone landed full force on her

There would be A LOT more blood and while not totally impossible this is a very unlikely accident.

She can't. She was trained to move her arms and upper torso and stand like a ballerina for this movie, but these are not her legs, they're from a professional ballerina that were edited into Jeniffer's body in post production!
