The son won't be there long if he keeps acting like this. He had 4 sons a couple years back. I don't know where they went.

@deeT02 Red Road should have ran him off already but many lions seem to be adopting the keeping yout sons with you Idea in Sabi Sands and around that area.

RRM still and always great ! He looks in very good condition just like the lionesses... and what about the sub-adult male son of King RRM ! Splendid sub-adult nearly fully grown, certainly a future dominant male ! ... just worry he has no brother and his bright future may be endangered just because of that... Fortunately with dad RRM they can be a good and strong coalition for many years 🤞. Bless King RRM and its pride ❤ 🙏

Can someone explain what happens to lions when they consume a buffalo that we know are prevalent with, or are carriers of, tuberculosis.

From what I've read all Lions have TB, due to all the Buffalo having it, but as long as they get enough to eat and can stay healthy their immune systems are capable of controlling it so they don't get sick. Also if a Lion does get sick and is still young, the Reserve will have the Vets treat them, but when they get older the Reserve usually lets Nature run its course. Older Male Lions that have had severe injuries from fights and hunting, their immune systems aren't strong enough and they start losing condition and eventually perish. Blondie Avoca, PB Mapogo, and possibly the S8 Male are examples. This info pertains to Sabi Sands, I'm not sure what the policies are for KNP, and the other Reserves. I've heard that some treat without regard to age, but I'm not sure.

The reserves does not treat bTB at all in any young or old nor is there a practical solution to medicate them daily for 6 months.

S8 who went from highly mobile and healthy to suddenly sick vomiting and dead in two days exhibited zero symptoms of bTB. 2/3 of his adult lionesses went from highly mobile and healthy to suddenly sick vomiting and dead in 42-72 hours two and the remaining lioness got snared. Basically 3/4 adults in this group poisoned and 1/4 snared and all happened on Mynelety. The authorities and the lodge owners and the vets are liars. Gaslighting is a most prominent endemic in homosapiens there.

S8 Imbali went from healthy and highly mobile to suddenly sick, stationary, vomiting and dead in 2 days just like 2/3 lionesses of his before zero clinical symptoms of TB while they remaining lioness got snared.

@@logthis3479 It is my understanding that it is not an age-related issue -- it's based on whether it is caused by man or happening naturally in nature. They are not treated if it occurs in nature but will be treated, or attempt to treat, if it is man caused, such as what happened w-2 leopards getting caught in snares, the most recent in mid-April when Maribey (pronounced Maribs) had a snare around his neck & back -- he was treated, as was the leopard from about a yr. ago.
