Such an amazing collaboration between everyone Lee Greenwood is the original singer / songwriter of this song. Austin has left the group and Adam Bastien has taken his place. Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave Bastien did his first concert with Home Free at the Country Rumble Fest in Lima,Ohio June 21 and The Grand Ol Opry June 22 and he did amazing They now have 3 Adam’s in the group so they opted to be called by last names less confusing that way. They filmed a video in Nashville with Bastien now we wait for it to be released. Home also released a welcome video it on KZread now called Adam Bastien’s First Weekend. They just released Your Man it is 1 of 3 of the last videos with Austin in them on Friday they are releasing another video called Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget )and the last one should be releasing soon after that

Rob Lundquist and Adam Rupp, along with their producer Darren Rust were in a studio in Minneapolis, MN, because they live in that area. (Probably Darren's studio?) Adam Chance was in Los Angeles because he lives in that area. And Austin Brown and Tim Foust were in a Nashville studio because they live in that area. This version was filmed in 2020. Home Free did an earlier version of God Bless the USA, in 2016, filmed with Mt. Rushmore in the background. At that time Chris Rupp was still with them, before Chance. I may be wrong but I think this version was born out of Lee Greenwood seeing the original and wanting to get with Home Free for a song.

They not only released a new song last Friday (You Man), but will release a new one today (5. of July), too (Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget)); both will be with Austin in it, maybe a third one, too, before the will rezthe first video with their new member Adam Bell-Bastien (called Bastien, pronounced Basteen). It's already been filmed.
