You should be able to do so on the web site turquoiseinamerica.com . Nice time to get the Turquoise in America books.
After your experience at the Indian Market gem shows, I just have to kid you and say: “Mike, don’t you think that small dark blue one in the center of the big tray is Lander Blue?!”😄 This mine is one that I really missed out on buying when it was more affordable. And, it is SO beautiful! I love seeing these beautiful examples, it’s a real privilege. Thank you.

Several Lander County mines show a dark web including Lander Blue, Red Mountain, and Indian Mountain as does Lone Mountain, No. 8 and Kingman in AZ. Throw in high grade Chinese and identification can be a challenge. That is why knowing provenance of ownership is important not only for identification but also for price. Verified Lander Blue will sell for twenty times or more than comparable grade of Chinese. While high grade dark web may seem pricey, compared to treated stone, it will,in my opinion, only get more expensive. So glad you enjoy the videos.
We enjoy these so much! May I ask: do all untreated gem grade turquoise pieces change colour over time, if not treated with care? Thank you !!

All natural turquoise should be treated with consideration but generally the higher the grade the harder the stone and more resistant to changing color.

@@turquoiseinamerica3164 Thank you so much, Mike!
I was wondering if you ever answer questions from people who could show you pics of stones they are trying to identify.I have need of some help identifying some of mine.

No. Subjective observation is not a dependable way to identify turquoise, especially from photos which are difficult at best and impossible if they have been manipulated. I am working with a geologist on a study designed to demonstrate a reliable method of turquoise identification using X Ray fluorescence. Stay tuned at turquoiseinamerica.com
