@andrew bishop Yeah, they should just become youtubers. Hollywood is dying and LA is a third world country now with all the homeless camps, crime, and a communist government to boot. Within the next few years Hollywood will be dead, and youtube will have replaced it. Not that youtube is any better, as its run by Gulagle and they're cultural marxists just like the Hollywood creeps are. Now that youtube censors everything and is trying to replace TV by bringing worthless Hollywood celebrities in, hopefully alt tech competitors like Odysee and Bitchute will kill off youtube and maybe the internet could be a freer place like it used to be in the nineties and 2000s.

I think it’s quite a unique concept to let random people who have dreams of being a star be in music video and just let them be themselves. That’s a band that really gets it. Probably my favorite RHCP album overall. Every song is a classic

Everything about this video is great but I especially love watching Chad smile so wide while watching the other guys just mess around while he plays the drums. So much love between them all🥰

This song so encapsulated my youngest brother. He tried so hard to make it as a guitar player in a rock and roll outfit. I remember this song coming out my senior year of high school, and how I knew what the words "really meant" but he would not hear me , he moved to Nashville and then L.A., and he never found a bite. In 2013 we get a call asking to identify his body, he had shot himself. I want to say that I love the peppers for all the encouragement they inspired in my brother, and wished that they were not so clairvoyant as to how it goes for those that just can't make it. I thank you guys for trying as you can to hold the entertainment industry's feet to the fire for those that fall prey to it's allure and macinations.

My sister used to love this song. She was a big RHCP fan and made sure everyone knew it because she played their songs throughout the whole house. She always told me how much she connected to this song. Now this song holds a very special place in my heart as well.

I dont think many people understand the genius of this video. Multiple reshoots. Different wannabe stars at different points in the song. Multiple playthroughs to choreograph each person at the right point in the song. This was RHCP giving back and giving hope to all the folks who wanted to "make it" in the music industry. Thing about the patience of a human being then go through the same song 12,000 times with the same hype and motivation each time to make it special for each "wannabe" in their music video. That takes love, admiration and respect.

To sum it up: don’t try to be famous, “the thing we need is never all that hard to find” ...find yourself Play music for yourself first Its all that matters If you play music you are already doing it.

These guys have brought so much joy to my life since I was in high school. I’m in my thirties now, I’ve been through a lot of things that I don’t wish not even to my worst enemies, I’ve lost people I’ve loved… Music and rhcp have been my refugee all my life, this song and particular video makes me happy. Thanks for being wonderful human beings Flea, Chad, Anthony, John and every single guitar player you guys have had.

The elation on their faces when RHCP band members come out to the jam with them gives me chills!

When I was a kid I wasn't a fan of RHCP music, but 10 years later I love it.

I could watch RHCP videos all day

I heard this song after sooooo many years, finally speaking English and damn, the intro, the people talking and the lyrics made me feel sad, because I had the dream of music too. I hope these guys are living happilly

I love when you look at, lets say, a music video for a song released just recently, and it gets so many dislikes, and about 60% likes to 40% dislikes. Then you come to videos by people like RHCP and at the moment this video has 58286 Likes to only 726 dislikes. That's crazy. I guess people still have an appreciation for music.

When I was around 8-10 years old, before youtube and internet was a thing for the masses I would wake up Saturday morning around 8:00 to watch the same music playlist in the local TV of my city. Definitely this song will hunt me forever...
