This song came out when I was a senior in high school. My group of friends and I would listen to this song everyday. One friend ended up with a bunch of kids and moved across state to live in his in-laws basement, one friend disappeared, one friend became a heroine addict, and I joined the army. 17 years later, this is one of the few things in life that brings back the good memories of my buddies from high school. Life is good for me - I hope the same for my buddies. Thank you for creating this song, as it takes me back to a time when I was carefree and without obligations.

There are some songs that are just PERFECT they have the combination of lyrics chords and melody and it all comes together so well. This is one of those songs and the number and monarchy of roses

This might be the greatest song I've ever heard in my entire life.

Im now really into the Chili Peppers. Always kinda liked them but never did them often, now I do. BTW I saw them outside of NYC in 2012, seen a lot of shows, but that was by far, by far the best concert Ive been to. Unreal

I liked this video because it's awesome!

This song will always take me back to my high school days. I remember one night I was at a house party with friends and the cops showed up. Everyone booked it, and I couldn’t find the friends I showed up to the party with so I jumped into the bed of another friend’s tiny truck. On the ride home he was blasting this song. I remember being drunk and just looking up at the stars savoring the moment feeling the wind all around me. I miss those carefree days. Thanks for the memories RHCP.

Honestly, for me the nostalgia of this song hits hard like a train. I heard it for the first time when I was only 1 year old. This song heavily reminds me of my family and I being in a spa from Hungary, but it reminds me more of my trip to Croatia... Am I the only one who feels heavily nostalgic by this song?

Finally went to RHCP concert yesterday at london and they played this song. Amazing!
