The other Can't Stop lesson is over 10 years old, so wanted to do a better video. At the end I added a close - up of both hands with angles that made sense to me. It's played at the original tempo and slowed down for 50%. Hope it helps 🙂

Excellent cover/lesson nikola to an absolute classic song and its awesome how you shown the camera angles of what to do in the strumming hand too not an easy song to play but deffo on my list of chilli songs to do one day love these types of video tutorials for learning songs no gibberish blah blah blah just straight to the point with the tab being shown too please do more chili songs mate your the perfect teacher for it especially for big chilis fan like me since the 90s this is an absolute dream to have keep it up 😍👏👊💪🎵🎸

I'm glad you revisited this, if I remember you covered this song long ago. Good idea with the close-up at the end, it's hard to tell what's going on even with the tab. In the future however I wonder if you could put the tab, at least a little transparent one at the bottom, also on top or under the close-up with the finger positioning. Nice work as always Niki!

That close up gas helped, i was playing with my thumb on the C as well as the B on E string, i see you use your ring finger which, im guessing helps mute the other strings. Definitely a harder song than ot seems.

Most of the low notes of the main riff have to be hit 4 times and not 3, like it says in the tabs, and this is quite important to get the right sound and to nail the vibe of the song, i noticed this by listening to the original master track and some live performance

I cannot play this, my fingers are too short. And I cannot dampen the string. ANd I cannot attach my thumb to the E string. Lol. Impossible

It is so hard to mute the top string with your thumb while playing the a string, i don't know how you get the angle with your thumb. Fair play though you play exactly like john just continuosly up down strumming like its easy.

Easy to play simply, hard to play like john frusciante.

Not even talking about the muting of the 5 striings on the main riff this song is way harder to play than I ever gave it credit for.

It's very deceptively difficult. Tiniest movements or pressure on the fretting hand can have such a massive effect. A great song to learn to work on string muting exercise and just a great song full stop.
