I’ve just memorised them recently, but the thing is you have to recite those 10 verses in prayer so it’s memorised in your head like surah fatiha

This purification was essential for those who wished to enter the Temple or participate in certain religious ceremonies. The procedure involved slaughtering the Red Heifer outside the camp, burning its carcass along with cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet wool, and then collecting the ashes. These ashes were mixed with water to create the "water of purification," which was sprinkled on individuals who had become impure. The significance of the Red Heifer ritual was particularly pronounced in the context of the Temple, where strict purity regulations were observed. The Temple service required priests and worshipers to maintain a state of ritual purity, and the availability of the Red Heifer's ashes facilitated this purification process. The Red Heifer ritual remained an important aspect of Jewish practice until the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE. Despite the absence of the Temple, discussions about the potential restoration of the Red Heifer ritual persist in Jewish religious discourse, as it is believed that its reinstatement will be necessary for the eventual rebuilding of the Temple.
