Hap is the best character on a show full of great characters.

I really miss this show! Watched it every Saturday night.

Hap is one of the best parts of the show!

"That old guy. I can never remember his name." I can only assume that Harold is talking about Sean Connery, the original James Bond.

The guy who plays Hap, Gordon Pinsent, is a very accomplished Canadian actor. He is finally getting some recognition from the U.S. for his supporting role as the elderly husband in "Away From Her".

I think funnier would have been Red NOT being so confrontational to the end but merely accepting Hap as Hap as Red did in other instances. Hap was the best minor character on the show. IMO

William Marshall was Blacula! Great movie. It should be recognized as one of the 5 top Dracula movies. The worst being 1971's "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" {Lon Cheney, Jr.'s last film}.

Pinsent was also the "ghost" of Robert Fraser on Due South. He is so freakin' well thought of in Canada that the cast made them keep him part of the show instead of the just the one-time appearance as Constable Fraser's dead body sliding in the snow. Anybody old enough to remember him as the President in "Colossus, The Forbin Project"?
