Those are the foxes I see in central Virginia. Occasionally a calico one. Cool critters. We get foxes, bobcats, infinite deer, and a crap ton of bears in Shenanndoah. You seriously can't visit twice w/o seeing a bear. Usually more than one. I've seen a couple hundred on foot. Rumor has it cougars are reinfiltrating too. Definitely elk down south. YUM. I don't hunt... but I'll make an exception for elk.

Have not seen a bear here yet, but heard they do come through once in a while. It would be a rare and awesome sighting in our parts.

@@renatagilarovaphotoart Come to Shenandoah National Park some time. It's a gorgeous park, and you will definitely see some bears. Late spring or early summer is best. Fall's lovely but superduper busy. (If you aren't from the States, SNP is a quick drive from DC should you ever make it to DC. About 120km.)

Mice, voles, rabbits, muskrats, frogs, but they also eat berries and fruits.

Foxes don't normally live to be 9 yrs old. I think the average age would be 4 to 6
