Knowing your value is SO important and this can be said for any job. I once had a friend tell me that when you sit for an interview it's as much for you to discern if the company is for you, as it is for them to discern if you are a right fit and it completely changed my perception of interviews and myself. What do you think of recruiting companies where you as an ESL teacher actually sign with that specific company and then once you're in China you then go look at schools and sign with a school in China? So the teacher is basically going to be paid by the recruiting company and sing a contract with them, and possibly also with the school once they are in China. Thanks! xx🌻

For most teaching jobs in China, Yes, they need a bachelors degree. But there are other Asian countries like Thailand, South Korea that offer jobs to diploma holders.

Definitely apply to other countries too, expand your options and see what else is out there. China is in a tricky place at the moment and you don't want to stay waiting and miss out on other awesome opportunities around the word.

Apply!!! A scammer/ red flag is a school that asks you to pay for a job or agent in China.

At that time I thought EF was great when I read their website

Few months left of my degree and I already have my TEFL. Waist-deep in research. But with China bathi it's difficult to get in and ofcourse the PU letters. It’s R400 via Postnet, however the cache is, it takes about 30 days.. Other agents charge those prices because it takes 14 days if you go through them…
