I'm in my 50's quite well covered in ink, been through the whole hardass studio phase, enjoying the new more chill vibes in studios. I would happily pay/compensate an artist for being more involved in the process and design, to be able to sit and get their honest opinion, advice and ideas whilst they were drawing up the design would be worth every penny to me as I know I'll be looking at it for the rest of my life. I often get asked about getting a tattoo by my younger relatives and my advice is always do the research find someone who suits your style and if the artist is above your budget, save up, no such thing as a value tattoo.

6 months into my 'tattooing' journey. Can hardly wait to put ink in skin. Patience and practice is key

I’d say something is backwards when the client doesn’t receive the best viewing pleasure. That’s why faces go forward/inward, so the client gets to see their tattoo face to face. This does have some gray areas when it comes to larger pieces. Then when it comes to flow, there is no gray, if anything goes contradictory to the natural movement of the body, it’s backwards or just plain wrong. Tattoos are moving art.

It would be awesome if y’all ever came too Houston 🙏🏼

When you walk in and they're all these old school hardass type dude that flip you off and argue and they're like "this is how old school shops were" and basically trying to fight against that mainstream conformity stuff. I'm cool with the old school shops and the edginess and nonmainstream mentality that tattoos had especially in the 80s and 90s but to always try to alienate someone and try to make yourself look like the rough grumpy old tattoo shop owner just doesn't fly as a business model anymore.

My artist is my primo so him and I always talk and hangout while he tattoos, I want to learn to tattoo but rn I’m focusing on work so I can open up my own garage

I was on ink master season 14 Vancouver I was not an artist but dj tattooed me for the flash banger episode look for the big dude in blue shirt that was me 😂 the new judges were dope except Ami James he lives up to his rep of being dickish but the Angel face lady wowwowweewow Ryan Ashley Malarkey touched my arm and boy was that quite the moment I'll never forget.

Whats the official website so i can have a consultation? I live in nc so id travel for a serious tatt. Im sure itll be expensive but im just curious of the price, im not stupid i wouldn't put my deposit down before i knew i could afford it.

Tampa is the same with Tattoos as Miami. Two for one or 50 for this size. It’s hard to find someone here. I need more work done but so many places do that or they shut down or artists leave left and right

I'm 52, never had a tattoo but have wanted one for a long time. My biggest problem now is I can no longer afford a good artist. I would never go to a hack. That's why I never had one done before. Now that I've found people that I would go to I can't afford it because of disability. Lol. It really sucks.

I’m covered in tattoos. Got my first tattoo in the 99, built a homemade machine and started tattooing myself and friends shortly after, absolutely love the art form. Shops now are FULL of pretentious assholes. I can still remeber the first time I walked in a shop and it wasn’t a gregarious Biker but pretentious douchebags, around 2003, and it seems that’s been the culture since. I’ve never haggled on a price, I’ve never been picky about a design. I say hey this is what I’m thinking l, please use your artist brain to come up l with something, and still douche bags. Last two places I’ve been though were some cool guys. So there’s that
