They were student at the WMAC School, and were in "training" to be come a WMAC master. In fact in season 2 one the ninja had just made it out. He was called Kid Carmickel I think. The ninja we thrown it to a match to make harder the the Masters.

You are correct. Carmichael Simon, a.k.a. "Kid Carmichael," used to be a ninja, according to his episode's plot, but the WMAC council decided he was good enough to have a shot at becoming a Master. He DID actually defeat Yin Yang Man in the preliminary match (he knocked Yin Yang Man out-of-bounds into the water, which was lucky because Yin Yang Man had been ABOUT to KO Carmichael), but because he was subsequently defeated in the Battle Dome, he did not become a Master and did not appear since.

Don't forget the power bar doesn't go down JUST because of hits. You also get penalized if your fighting is sloppy. The announcer has said that before in certain fights. What I think must've happened was that the judges considered Star Warrior's "shove" sloppy in technique, so they DELIBERATELY ignored it to punish Star Warrior for not being up to par.

I really miss this show, especially when I happen to watch some pro wrestling. The WMAC Masters were real stunt people and champion martial artists, so the fighting was always top notch. This match was amazing, and makes WWE look like crap in comparison. If only it weren't so goofy, and played to an older audience, I think it could have done better.

"Palm," then. I admit you are entirely correct. However, that wasn't my point. It doesn't matter what kind of strike Star Warrior was using, the POINT is that the judges decided that the move Star Warrior used wasn't properly executed (since this IS a show about excellence in martial arts, after all, and the fights are also meant to exhibit styles) and THAT should explain why Red Dragon's power bar didn't go down, since you were curious.

What's the story with the ninjas? Are they wannabe WMAC masters who can't make the grade, or are they homeless? I don't understand why it takes 50 of them to make a WMAC master sweat. I mean, why not get someone that's as good as 50 ninjas and pay him 25 ninjas' salaries? If the WMAC had any smart business men working for them, that's what they would do.
