I agree, unfortunately the hunters out there would take one look at him and think how beautiful his head would be on their wall and a great pic to brag about. I think he’s strong, a great specimen and has been able to survive that long to look like that so don’t go and snatch his life away.

I wouldn't be so sure...Deer are very muscular athletic creatures. If they went head to head, blow for blow the bison would win, but deer are dirty fighters. He would try to get around to the bisons body with those horns..Have you seen the video of the big RAM and Whitetail deer going at it in South Texas?. The whitetail took a huge blow to the head from the RAM. A blow you would think would kill the deer or crack it's head open..The deer just shook it off and then proceeded to whip the RAMs butt by stabbing him in the body with his horns and chased him off.

That ghostly wailing in the background is the call of the common crane for all those wondering.

Not only is it crazy how huge horns like these manage to grow out of a tiny skull, but also how they manage to stay attached, how the animal manages to keep its balance without breaking its spine, and how they don't break off immediately after the very first horn-locking encounter like that, staggering the poor animal to the point of unconsciousness.

There are no buffalo in North America or Europe, buffalo are found only in Africa and Asia, these animals are actually called bison.

Imagine how people were 5,000 years ago without God’s True Book. How would they have known how they were supposed to live? God gave His creation a big help, the Word, to show us how He wants us to live. If we follow His perfect teachings, we all live with perfect peace, love, joy and unity. This is His perfect design for His children's lives. When we go against His perfect design for what we want, sin, we throw away that perfect plan. We throw away that perfect peace, love, joy and unity. Giving up these things is foolish. So sinning against God proves to be the worst plan for us! God wanted to help mankind. God wanted to save man from his foolishness. He wanted to help us the best way possible because He is Good. The best and only way to do it, as God saw fit, was to give mankind His Son. Why? The Son is the Word, Jn 1:1. The Word always obeys the Father's will. The Father's will is spoken through His Word. The Word proceeds forth from the Father's will and mind. Hard to imagine for modern Europeans that not too long ago, bison (along with the extinct aurochs) were as common in the forests of Europe as red deer still are today. That tidbit further shows how the wildlife of Europe and North America closely mirror each other, as American bison and elk are well-known for coexisting at places like Yellowstone, and they too have been filmed locking horns/antlers on occasions.

That deer met Mike Bison !!!

La testosterona los vuelve muy atrevidos y agresivos, pero a diferencia de nosotros, es sólo una vez por año... Muy interesante la toma en la que un bisonte "saboera el aire" con el característico reflejo Flehmen, a pesar de ser especies distintas y se acerca a investigar donde está la fiesta. Espero que algún día los bosques de toda Europa recuperen tantas especies perdidas o en retroceso...nosotros, en España, estamos teniendo éxito con la recuperación del Lince Ibérico, pero sigue habiendo problema con la falta de espacios protegidos y corredores entre ellos para su expansión territorial, por lo que las sueltas se realizan en verdaderas "islas" protegidas, sin opción a interactuar con el entorno para su expansión.

Lucky for the stag that this particular bison was being so non-confrontational. If pissed, a bison would have steamrolled that stag in an instant. And bison are known for their foul temper.

I raise American bison. European bison are built different. As I recall, there are 2 North American species left and 3 European. To bison, everything is a toy. Barrels, stacks of concrete blocks, pickups, etc. Dogs and coyotes are killed on sight. Anything deemed a threat is generally met head on by the whole herd.

There is genetic influence of aurochs in wisent. it's taller more slender and horns have shape similar to that of aurochs

What species of Deer and Buffalo are shown? I want to know 😅
