That's me, I lost my shit, and turned into John Marston. It was not nostalgia, I relived this moment again. I can easlly say it was best moment in whole rdr2 for me. I just adored it

I played RDR1 for over a year straight when it came out in ‘10. When we finally got to play as John in the epilogues, it was like being reunited with an old friend. During American Venom, I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time and when the music kicked in, I completely lost it. It’s amazing that a video game can have that effect.

Dude you have no idea it was a flurry of emotion. I was in high school when the first came out so to hear it again and play as John likely felt very different than people felt with RDR2 being their first red dead experience.

The rdr2 one sounds a lot more energetic, because it was when John was younger and dumber! Love it. Then the rdr1 theme has a “I’m done with everyone’s shit” vibe. For when he’s a little older and wiser. God I love these games.

This Music gives you back your Strength when you are deep down at the bottom.

@@theflyxx I don't know... RDR was just action themes (except for when you travel around Mexico for the first time, when you go back for your family and when Jack buries John), RDR2 was... I don't know... It made you feel sad, then happy, then sad again, then I don't know.

The craziest thing just happened to me! I was eating lunch in the cafeteria with my bros and I could have sworn I heard "American Venom" coming faintly from the kitchen. So I went over there and sure enough, all the lunch ladies were jamming to Red Dead Redemption music while scrubbing the dishes! 😂 I almost pissed myself it was so funny and cool!

I'm so glad I got to play red dead redemption when I was a kid, probably my favorite game of all time. It definitely needs a remaster on the rdr2 engine

@@colbstinator I think the same. At the end of RDR2 he's optimistic and rest easy. He hasnt gone through hard shit yet. The John Marston from RDR1 has a dead daughter, a son that doesnt understand, an almost useless ranch, his family is kidnapped and he has to cooperate for the guys that caused the demise of his gang/family.
