Ross, I love what you said about using money you got from your dad. If you think of the money he left you as seeds, some will never turn into a crop no matter how much thought and care you put into them. But look at what you’ve done with the seeds that did! ❤️

I agree, knowing when to walk away. BIGGEST thing IMO is cut losses as fast as possible. Holding gets me in trouble every-time.

Ross -- You've created a mindset in my world of "Happy Red Days" -- This was my 5th red day in a row and probably my most successful red day. It was a cold and problematic trading day and I escaped with only ½ of my max red loss. I am patiently waiting for the market to give me a better climate for gains and am confident I will do well when things get warmer - Thanks for the lessons!

It's been tough since last monday for me as well soo... we are in the same boat buddy. At least today i was in the same ones Ross was in. It's just been so choppy. I noticed that all the ones that went up (pre market) all flushed at around 40% !!! and went back to 20% or more. Maybe it will pick up on Wed or Thurs... good luck!!

I had a red day too. 😥 Got into MULN shortly after the open. Green high volume candle pushed above the previous pullback. Price turned on me and flushed on the very next candle. Didn't like much the rest of the morning so I walked away with a "successful" red day.

I learn from your daily recap, thankyou. Green day here with trades on MULN only and had the self discipline dialed in tight (followed WT strategy, wait on news/micro pullback/etc, also traded on MACD rising slope over signal ).

Ya know... I thought about this when I was reading the book... Your dad would be so incredibly proud of how you have used his money to help so many people and change their lives for the better.

I am giving trading a fair shot and I am thankful for your videos. I have been trying to learn and do my first day trade.

I would say the money gone through, back then, was spent well with all the training/learning you put yourself through. I have a feeling your father would be proud of the efforts you made and where you are now. 🙂

None of these stocks appeared on my scanner except DCPH which wasn't moving enough. So I traded another cheap stock which was moving quickly but without any news catalyst and ended up losing money. Stupid mistake. I shouldn't have traded at all.

Hey Ross, many thanks. One important question. Do you wait for a close outside the bloken candle shaddow (when exit a breakout) or do you buy(or sell) stop straight in (or via market)? Thanks and thanks a ton.

Right now my P/L is literally a flat line for two weeks in a row, which is good. Listening to you has taught me how to minimize my losses so that right now I'm at nearly a dead even 50/50. Being at 50/50 is an area that I can learn and fine tune.

I'm glad I didn't buy in today which is telling me that your teachings are working. I couldn't find an entry on any of the stocks that popped up on the screeners today. I do have 1 question for you though: when you say your looking for 5X relative volume on the screeners to consider a stock, what does that mean? does it simply mean the value in the table should be 5 or more?

Just learning and would like to know if all here started out without being a member of WT and just used another simulator and/or scanner to practice with?

Ross, love and appreciate your videos! Could you though, make a video cover making hotkeys in DasTrader? Such as Hotkeys for buying/selling Bid/Ask +0.05 or setting a Stop loss and take profit? Thank you!

@@alexanderdepue9423 yes, that would be amazing. 1) buy the @ the ask +0.05 for X shares 2) sell the @ the bid + 0.05 for X shares 3) not so much of a hot key but how do you set a stop loss and a take profit on your position? I have looked around found a lot but not exactly anything helpful to me yet.

Got burned on ZVSA today as well. Holding for a bit of a bounce after market open, then that nasty jack-knife candle hurt me badly.

I chose to sit it out today. There was nothing exciting or falling within the parameters. Glad I just watched.😅

The market is not primed right now to buy breakouts at the highs, but you can pick up dip trades when reaching for the highs again

Made two trades today. Ended up slightly positive. Know when to fold them.

ZVSA...met all the metrics for trading today....but it didn't go according to my expectations. I didn't trade it because the premarket price action just felt too slow based on the relative volume and float. The premarket % up just didn't make sense for the massive sell-off at market open. Very strange.

Any tips on how to get around t+2 and pdt rules? I’ve got a very small account and I don’t have 25k. I am starting to feel like I should just pull my cash out and give up. These rules make it impossible to get in.

Split your money between two different accounts. This allows you to trade twice as much.

Red day here too. HWH got me for 150 when I was looking for it to break through some resistance around 2.65. False break out and flush...😅

Didnt take a trade today. I saw ZVSA but I missed the move. All good.

ross how come your share size is so small compares to 2 years ago?

Succesful red day for me too, Ross. I traded MULN early when it made sense, one red, one green. Red was a little bigger. Didn't trade it very well, then shut it down. Should have gone with my gut and called it a no trade day, but also want to jump on opportunities when they arise.

@michaelhall982 yeah, turned my head to speak with my fiance was 15 seconds, missed my exit on a false breakout. Should have been a 15 to 25 cent winner. Instead had to bail into flush. Oh wells. Live to trade another day.

I picked the same stocks, which is always a nice thing to hear. I managed to get a little above break-even in the simulator, which I was happy with given the market conditions. HWH helped get me recover. This was a great day to practice discipline. Thanks for the great updates, Ross!

ZVSA has tons of resistance 7-7.70 on the volume profile on the daily. Took one trade on IBRX stater then added, nothing to talk about. One small green trade today and that's it.

My 1st day of 14 day trial -- also had good red day - think I picked one off scanner to early (NIVF) Max loss was $50 - cut losses after 2hr hold for >$9 loss Learned lesson on volume and waiting (fomo kicked in a bit)

In the chat room platform there is an audio alert when my broadcast begins, and then the broadcast button is red and says “LIVE”

I think everyone has some emotional involvement with trading. In fact I think it's the reason why most people fail. Only those who can control their emotion will succeed.

Congratulations on another successful red day. In my opinion these stocks usually only go at the open, unless they’re re-testing a high… then they may go immediately after the open…be extra careful on days like this where the volatility isn’t present. Me, i paper traded the Nasdaq 100 and got up to 3,400… with 5 contracts. I’m almost looking to go live again. Take my advise as entertainment only and especially because i dont trade stocks.

I trade out of and IRA account and a Roth IRA account. Both of these types of accounts are immune to capital gains taxes.

why do not you trade during normal market hours?

Ross will also trade regular hours, however, lately some of the best moves have been in pre-market.

I can't afford your courses but I can afford to say, you haven't been shorting like you said you were. Also if you are going to go long. Haven't you noticed the stocks you've been loosing on have returned on the second bounce?

IBRX and MULN were good

To be honest , I didn’t trade today because ZVSA did some really choppy moves to me at the pre market.

I was disciplined but played stupid on $CAUD Like Ross said, we hold our losing trade too long and wining trade too short. Got in $CAUD at $0.65 and then went down. As soon as it came back to 0.65 I got out 😢 but from there it went to $.85+ Lost $0.20 a share. Didn't go for a revenge trade. Shut down the computer immediately . Just accepted it as the result of the day.

Bc I've been feeling frustrated like I'm doing something wrong but I've noticed this is just what happens when the market is slow? I started learning to trade for the first time back in November so I'm still getting used to the nuances of trading and how the stock market works, especially in relation to the seasons. Just need someone to remind me I'm not going crazy with feeling like there is barely any opportunities lately and that cold days/weeks/months happen every year?

Certainly not crazy. There have been opportunities yet not many of the traditional when you confirm the Gap%, the price, relative volume, float and hopefully a catalyst that provides volatility and holds up etc... Just keep pluggimg away. You will be just fine.
