I play this song daily in honor of all we have lost in 2020 and 2021!!! I play this as soon as I hear a loved one has passed away!!! Really brings the tears a flowing!!! Love it!!

I needed to hear this. My thoughts have been with the 215 children remains discovered at Kamloops residential school. Bless these children and I hope they find their way home.

I remember seeing and hearing my first honour song, it moved me to tears to see my people standing tall. Giving and sharing in the pride of a people who have been through so much but still manage to smile and dance and live. One nation, one love, one heart, all my relations.

I can't help but tear up I feel sadness and happiness at the same time for those who have passed on and the pain of those who are suffering with something physically or mentally including myself it also reminds me of the wrong within my spirit the things I must change wopila tanka for this song... much love to everyone from a Lakota man!

I’m here listening to this, my dad lost his life in October due to Covid, I cry for him still, I miss him way to much, He was a residential school survivor, still spoke plains cree language, so I’m here, listening to a song that i can sing to honour him.

Thank you for this song, I listen to it often these past 3 months. I didn’t think lying my eldest son would make me feel so lost. Knowing that a part of him still live so thru my other children and his son and unborn son. Music from our many native singers and drummers truly helps to heal that part of our connection to our loved ones on their new journey to our ancestors. Blessings to all in this world. I love this song..it brings out the tears wen I hear someone left us again to be with the creator and our loved ones who passed on...this journey is difficult...let the tears fall cos its an honour for those chosen to leave wen its time for them to this world..hold ur heads up cos they watch over us..I miss my son and my parents. To my mother whom the creator called home 6 yrs ago. It still feels like it was just yesterday you were telling me to continue to walk my journey so we can be together when my time comes. I miss you everyday. Two days ago I got news my adopted mother pass from battling cancer 😢 my mother died from cancer. This news opens up my already wounded heart. I came here to listen to this song to give me strength in my hard times. With the covid19 it saddens me that I cant not pay my respect in person. But in spirit my adopted mother would understand.. I miss them both 😥😥😥
