excellent mix of rhythms, ska, band, jazz. my brain races to hear the beat of red baraat.

Everybody in the band is a different race.. This is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful music too oh my god

it's called a dhol (assuming you're talking about Sunny Jain - the lead guy). Traditional South Asian drum.

The guitar seems to be lost in the massive sounds of Sax. Should've used a bit more to create a perfect fusion of Western-Punjabi folk :)

Or some Northern African styled playing, a la Bombino, Tinariwen, or Amadou & Mariam. If never you've heard of either of those three bands, then KZread them! They're all amazing! Oh, and Red Baraat sounds like a more westernized version of Fanfarai, just to throw you one more group to add to your repertoire ;)
