Hi, thank you for this video, by far this is the only video I have found on how to dismantle this kind of keg! It was very helpful for me!

You can just unscrew the top black plastic "steering wheel" bit - you don't need to hammer it out.

Thanks for the video :) Is it PET plastic? If it is, maybe there is no need to re-use this bottles because of pet characteristics.

I need to look at this more carefully and try again with another keg. I think I missed a step, or a detail because I can't find a wY that the grey cap detaches from the inner bottle.

Just wondering if you got your hands on one if it could be reused as a keg bootle just add in a dip tub and 2 ball connectors. Also a good question would be where to find them

Thanks for the video is there anyway to remove the screw without cutting away the outer layer?

The grey moulded end attached to the in layer sits in the neck of the outer. So the outer layer needs to be removed to get access to it. The outer needs to be cut somewhere.

Looks interesting. Any way to make this a pressure fermenter? Like a fermzilla? A tight fitting lid 3d printed? Thanks for the video!

Yes I you could if you can get a cap to fit to its mould. I made a ginger beer fermenter though that is not pressurised.
