Recycled Quilts

A fun recycling project in our city called Trolls in DL prompted this informative video. Spring boarding off the recycling theme, Connie shares many ideas for recycling clothing and other textiles into your quilts. Do you know some quilt shows even have a special category for Upcycled Quilts to highlight the beautiful quilts that can be made from recycled materials? If you want to learn more about the Trolls in DL project and meet all the fun trolls artist Thomas Dambo created with recycled materials, visit the Project 412 website using this link. project412mn.org/trolls-dl/

Wow, thank you so much for alllll of this information! We have become such a wasteful, throwaway, convenience society; and it just saddens me so😢 Ya I may have toooo many things collected to repurpose, reuse but I’m also in the stage of a big sort/share out😳😝! If/when I get that far north I’ll definitely check out the store in person! I will also be looking into those books!!! 🥰👏👏👏✝️🙏🏻❤️😀

Thanks so much for this video. Can you tell me about the quilt hanging behind you during this video? What is the name of the pattern? Is it available in your shop?
